    Who we lookin at? Man I am excited these guys are available...lots of value in the 4th round:

    RB- Lattimore and Franklin

    wr- Quinton Patton

    TE- Dion Sims

    G- Barret Jones

    DE- Alex Okafor, Joe Kruger, John Simon

    LB- Khaseem Greene

    S- Phillip Thomas, Duke Williams

    I think we're looking at a Safety in round 4.. Phillip Thomas or Shamarko Thomas would be my guess.

    did rambo get drafted? if we get barrett and rambo i think wr have 5 potenial starters

    I doubt they go WR/RB again that soon...even OLB (Simon, Okafor)...though hey I'd live with it if they did.

    If a decent S is around I think they might go there.

    Wouldn't be against Jones though as he can backup all 5 OL spots...and they need depth.

    I hope we go best player available and not reach for need on a safety. Like the previous poster said Rambo's probably out due to two weed related suspensions. If Phillip Thomas is there then I'd say go for it. I think he gets picked up by the Patriots. I'm hoping Barrett Jones makes it to us. I think he's the best player available that isn't a QB.

    Didn't know about Rambo weed smoking incidents two times over. Then I would go with Phillip Thomas. I think he's the best rated safety left on the board.

    For the life of me, I cannot understand why Barrett Jones is still on the board. I am a Wisconsin guy, and I can tell I would take Jones all day long over Travis Frederick. As mentioned, Jones can play all 5 positions. Don't we covet this type of versatility? Maybe they just don't want to draft 2 "Jones"s in the same draft :lolol:

    I would love Rambo, but with his character concerns, I doubt the Steelers are too interested. I think our 4th round pick will have the last name "Thomas". Just a hunch.

    I have been an advocate of passing on a QB before the 6th, but that was when guys like Barkley and Nassib were projected as early rounders, and we were talking about guys like Bray and Tyler Wilson as 4th round prospects. I'd still prefer to go DB or ILB in the 4th (thinking Thomas as well, maybe AJ Klein), but if Barkley or Nassib last to pick #115, he would represent pretty good value. They are both super high character team leaders, and could develop into starter-caliber backups who could take the reins and lead the team to a bunch of wins if we ever lose Ben to a season ending injury. I am also liking Barrett JOnes or Schwenke as potential 4th rounders.

    jones has a few medical concerns. i think he has shoulder problems or something. wouldnt scare me, the kid can play

    Just noticed Jesse Williams is still there. With Ta'amu's future so uncertain, not only as a person but as a player, I wonder if they're looking at him. The guys is a beast at NT! The problem is we dont know jack about Alameda, if he's even gonna be worth a damn in the NFL or if he'll even stay out of trouble. I think at worst WIlliams could be a good depth pick. Something to think about at least.

    i don't see it J-ball. we not only took ta'amu, but the other guy we were looking at last year in fangupo. so essentially we got two NT's from last years draft and mclendon.:cool:

    One of the Thomas boys, Wolff or Duke Williams at S would be great. I'm assuming we go this route in rd 4 so the guys below are guys that could be available in rd. 5 or beyond

    Kruger, Jenkins or Goodman at DE

    Mauti or Riddick at ILB

    Webb, Cromartie, Johnson at CB

    Boyce, Collins, Denard Robinson at WR

    Miles if we double up on safeties

    Big day today....let's add lots of depth!!

    For me, Late rounds or undrafted FA list is - DE Stienkulher NEB, Lewis-Moore Notre Dame, LB Penn ST guys or Korey Diede Jones Wyoming, OG Jeff Baca UCLA or the Chadron St guy, TE Kasa CU, Sudfield Nevada, or Fuaria Ucla, Saftey Ray Polk CU, Earl Wolff NCst, CB Cj Wilson NC state Tharod Simon LSU, RB Akeem Shavers Purdue , Zac Stacy Vanderbuilt, QB Jeff Tuel Wash St , WR anyone over 6 '
