First his holding out is of zero concern to me today

If he holds out game one I still won’t care

To me he will just be a dishonest player who retired

Second he has already been paid for this year. Not playing in my opinion is nothing short of theft. He should be required to repay a prorated portion every game “if” he does not play.

Holding out most definitely will not get him anything from Omar. If he was going to give him anything I would expect it will happen before game one or not at all. Omar disposed of players who are detrimental to the overall good of the team.

Note Boswell is playing. I suspect he got the memo and understood it.

Is there a single person on this board who at this point is on Cam’s side of this issue

Im doing a survey of unethical and dishonest board members

The above is solely based on any part of the bull**** posted about him is true

I am going to paraphrase Pete Prisco, "He is under contract and going to play. They all play." He is not wrong that NFL players don't usually leave game checks on the table.

Cam will suited up and play Week 1.

Cam likes to troll the haters. I don’t buy for a second he won’t play. Not over the contract anyway.

    This is possible

I'm going to lose all respect for him if he decides to not play against the Jets and I don't think I'll be alone... If he plays, we can move on from that

It doesn’t matter if he plays or not, he is a captain and the mere fact this bull**** is being discussed by him days before the opener shows me about his character.1st. Tomlin should sit his ass down and say either shut up or you don’t play for the year. Tired of this non football ****, they are all whores Watt, Heyward all of them, as hard working family of 4 paying $2K for a game. F#2K them all.

If he doesn't play, then strip him of being a captain.

I'm not 'on his side', but can at least understand in part the view that players give up more in terms of their health/bodies and still don't get an even 50% cut of the revenue. There have been a number of athletes who consider themselves to be leaders in the role of advocating for increased player benefits - especially for the non-elite players that comprise the majority of rosters.

Whatever the intention may be, it needs to be done in a productive manner. Do I agree with how Heyward has handled it? No. I think he's lost sight of the fans and the role they play in order for the entire league having the kind of revenue it does for him and others to bicker over. At some level it's always going to be a business, and while I don't have a problem with him wanting to conduct his, but there's a proper time and place. Players (and ownership alike) owe it as a matter of integrity and responsibility to not allow that side of the game to negatively impact their fanbase.

Saturday was drink night with the valkyries. They can hold their own. I offered to hold it for them, and don't remember much after that.
