That will happen when your OL does a poor job of picking up the blitz.

It wasn't just the almighty dollar. It was Joe Paterno's ego and a good bit of stupidity on both sides.

OMG, that’s my point. Maybe you need to go back and read my first post. Manning was on the bench for 2 years behind a guy drafted in the 7th round.

They had him set for the Heisman trophy before the game.

Look him up on YouTube. Marshall Manning at age 13 was throwing lasers during the Pro Bowl practices. He threw a 40 yard out and up that hit Jamir Chase right in stride.

He had a tough opening night assignment going into Death Valley facing a hostile crowd and a top 4 team in the nation but he pulled it off with a victory.

I had both returning anyhow though still optimistic on Nico.

Still plenty of time remaining in the CFB Season though as regards to Arch, I stand by what I stated long before the season began. Nico still has a shot though I will give him two more weeks before I decide he needs to return. UNLV and New Mexico are up next.

If Nico struggles with either though?! Yeah... he needs to head back.

That said.... Sellers has some ways to go. Did like what I saw though.

Everyone is all high on namesake. I get it. But...

Arch is not ready for prime time. Yet. He needs to actually play a full season and see how he progresses.

And like said he probably should/ would stay in Texas for another season after this one.

But, if he does come out in the 2026 draft it would be impossible for the Steelers to get him. Unless they go with a Hershel Walker or a Ricky Williams type of insane trade. No thanks....

Carson Beck had a solid game in a win over Notre Dame.

I don't think Clemson is that good, but I could be wrong, and I know that they have them ranked number 4, but they had Texas ranked 1, Alabama 8, Notre Dame 6, and Boise St 25, and they all lost. I don't think where someone is ranked this early is very accurate. Again He has a whole season to prove me a dumb a$$.
Also I find it funny both Clemson, and LSU call it death valley. So it was a battle of Death Valley. LoL

That was a hell of a game. I thought he was going to throw a pick on that last drive they kicked the field goal in.

Nuss is so friggin overrated. Can’t wait until the Gamecocks punch him in the mouth like they did last year!
Unfortunately, the refs literally stole that game from us.

Not a Clemson fan, but you do know their number one wr didn’t play?
Enough with the Nuss for Heisman talk.

I'm basically just talking crap. I really don't know how good Clemson is yet. LoL. They could be really good.

I know it is difficult for Penn State fans to find fault in St. Joe, but his ego absolutely played a part in killing the rivalry.

Unfortunately Pitt made a bad decision when given the opportunity by Penn State/Paterno

Paterno tried to make a conference of eastern schools and Pitt turned the idea down.

Eventually Penn State joined the Big Ten and that limited the number of games available

Pitt blew it and their program suffers for it

If Pitt wants to play at Penn State each year like Nevada etc. Im sure it would be arranged

So for now Pitt is a little brother to Penn State

Clemson’s defense looks pretty good, but I still don’t get the media fascination with Cade Klubnik. He’s OK, but I do not see a future NFL starter there.

Overrated overhyped just because of his last name. If his last name was anything other than Manning he would not be generating very much attention.

    Agreed

But let’s see where he is in 16 more months

There is a lot of room for growth

All the hype noe has been based on last name and a very small sample size of work
