    I think the Packers allow fans to buy shares. Steelers did that I absolutely would buy some shares. I'd love to be a super small owner of the Steelers.

    You generally cannot buy Green Bay Packers stock on demand because they are not a publicly traded company; shares are only available during infrequent, specific stock sale offerings to raise money for team projects, not for investment purposes. When offered, Packers stock is primarily for symbolic ownership, doesn't pay dividends or increase in value, cannot be resold on the open market, and can only be inherited by family members.
