The Rooney's are not letting the Team go over early like the Vikings to save money. Arriving on Wednesday would cost the Rooney's extra money to put up the team for those 2 extra Days, like the Vikings will be doing.

Funny thing is everybody knows what a bad idea this is to arrive Friday, right before a game on Sunday. And, every Steeler player and coach said after the game what a huge mistake it was not to arrive early.

Cam Heyward on the last time, 2013, the Steelers played overseas.

Ownership should be trying to set their team up for victory, not saving money in defeat.

I initially wanted to stand pat at 11-6 but the issue is Pittsburgh seems to lose games they are not supposed to; year in and year out. The Colts in particular seem to have our number as of late.

That game, November 2nd by the way, wouldn't shock me if that was a loss. Could be a win though. Will have to wait and see.

Whether or not the Steelers are well rested didn't equate to me having Pittsburgh suffer a loss in Ireland anyhow. Minnesota is simply too stacked and too experienced a team for Pittsburgh to take on at this point. What's worse is that the Offensive Line isn't likely to gel by that point either.

Combined that with Brian Flores; arguably the best DC in the NFL?! Yeah... don't like those odds at all; well rested or otherwise.

    WAIT A MINUTE. "Too experienced"

The Vikings will be starting a QB that has never played in an NFL game this year. Say what you want about Flores and His defense, but their offense is going to be anything but EXPERIENCED at QB this year.

LOL.. You know the definition of being an idiot right...... Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting to get it right on your next try.

You, just like the Rooney's are repeating yourself. After last time everyone told the team that they needed more time to prepare for the game, because of the time change. Guess what the team is once again not arriving until Friday and expecting different results. Cam says it right there, going over on Friday was a huge mistake last time, and I am guessing it will be another huge mistake again this year.

I bet the NFL will pay for Friday and Saturday, but if a teams goes over earlier than that, the owners have to pay for the early arrival. Hense, is the reason why the Steelers are choosing to not go over early again.

You do know the Steelers keep repeating the same groundhog day every year with coach T?
Mind boggling! Yet posters here will say who is a better coach?!

No, I remember everyone, even coaches talking about how they were outplayed that year, because of Jet Lag. I think Ben even spoke about it in his PodCast when he was talking about international games, and how it was a huge mistake for the Steelers to fly in last minute and play a team that was well rested after having a few days extra in London.

    AI
In the 2013 NFL season, the Pittsburgh Steelers faced challenges due to jet lag after traveling from Pittsburgh to London for a game against the Minnesota Vikings. Reports indicated that several players, including LaMarr Woodley, appeared out of it in their pre-game press conference, highlighting the impact of jet lag on their performance. The Vikings, on the other hand, had a strong performance, winning the game with a score of 34-27.

Obviously. Based on how last year ended the offseason and Rice Suspension. Kelce is getting old. I think Denver wins that division this year.

The rest of that team will be more than enough to handle a Rookie QB; second year rather.

J.J.s lack of starting experience is overblown as I see it. Not because it is unimportant but due to how loaded Minnseota is. I asked Rookie Season Brock Purdy and he seemed to agree.
