Nichols and glabreath. Really expected those two to make the ps. Slightly less surprised to see Robinson cut early

Don't they have to first be "CUT" to be signed to the practice squad?

Yes. Then they must clear waivers

Wow, both TE’s that were supposedly impressing in camp. The other one was the guy they gave the largest amount for a UDFA and still sent him packing a couple weeks ago.

I thought one of them would have made it.

Thought Robinson would stick as he's been pretty decent in run support and on ST. Guess with Holcomb coming back and looking ready plus Bruener being a little younger with about the same upside Robinson had a few years ago was a choice.

It's better to keep Bruener he can play ST and he's on a four-year rookie deal, Robinson is in the last year of his contract.

And are Waivers just for teams willing to sign these players to the active 53 man roster?

LOL. Playing FB in Friday Night Lights is a death sentence for Steeler players. :)

Not a big sample size, but Nichols looked better than Gainwell in the preseason.

I didn't see any real surprises yet. At this moment, there are 14 remaining moves.
That bunch will probably have a surprise or two.
Maybe even a trade takes place.

Gainwell also played against first team defenses, Nichols not so much.

    Leal just wasn't working out.
They really gave him lots of chances.

Leal bulked up some but I think that was worse for him.
Highsmith and Herbig both seem to get dinged more than I like.
I do like Sawyer.. he's a big guy, seems even bigger in person...
Herbig is replaceable in my opinion.

    Kelce and Swift engaged....

I guess Travis made that cut....

Good thing Taylor came around NFL was in shambles and losing billions a year before she started coming to games...

    Thanks, Very informative.

One final quest with the Waivers...

Does the new team take on the players old contract? The old team would eat the Bonus money, but would the new team take on the Players current and future salary?

FanDuel has their years of being married at 3.5 years. That's the over/under.

It might take a few years, but there will be a revenge song written.
