Assuming Scotty Miller makes the team, they are going to have a really fast group their top 4 guys all run a 4.3 forty.

Aaron Rodgers was saying in his interview with Missy Mathews during the game that he has never had this fast of a WR group to throw to before.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised at our WR room this year. Speed kills.

Might really work with the TE group. Fast receivers are going to keep someone deep which should open up those crossing routes for the TEs. :)

Probably why Omar hasn’t gotten another receiver

He doesn’t want to bring down the average

There is some concern having three small receivers and nobody really to do what Metcalf can do if he gets injured.

Every team is concerned if their number one receiver gets injured

We will have to see how they do when real play starts, our
OL has to be better than last year with an Inmobile QB to have time to throw
to these receivers. Receivers must be able to seperate.

Speed is one aspect but this group still has a lot to prove when the games actually count. There is a reason Scotty Miller is always a roster fringe player and CA3 and Roman are both small.

A lot if "Ifs" for me in the WR department.
As I mentioned before, Rogers impact on this team is very positive in just about all areas.
He impacts the defense, as he brings his bag of tricks with him and they have to react to those quick counts, mixed cadences, etc....
Our Receivers all have to know that look, or nod, or whatever from Rogers if he sees something different.
An effective passing game compliments the run game.
Audibles will be a part of the offense.
His attitude rubs off on the players, you can see it on the sidelines. There's a lot of experience he has in that head.

How all that translates to the field, remains to be seen. Even if it does at all.
But I think, if we can keep his uniform clean, it will be an interesting season.
Of course, all the defenses know this as well and they will gear up the pass rush and come gunning.

He's no Metcalf or Pickens, but concern over Wilson's size is overblown IMO. He was 5'11", 185 coming out of college, a touch bigger than DJ was when he was drafted (5'10", 183).

Still not happy with WR group, Kahn desperately needs to find someone to bring in.

Calvin Austin and Jonny Smith with no stats.

Anyone worried about these 2 going on IR to start the season?

I’m glad neither are Pickens, thus they would be shipped out of town too!

Yet another option went off the board. The Raiders signed Amari Cooper.

That hurts a little bit. I thought he was the best Free Agent out there.
