Looks like kunz will be out for a while

The Steelers worked out 4 long snappers today

 

Hats off to Logan Lee who stepped in and did a good job last night.

 

I like the guy but if somebody has to be injuried ...

Yeah no. The difference between a kick getting blocked or not is hundredths of a second. Not to mention the importance of accuracy. We trot out some Joe Schmo yall will be whining for years. You can look for a 20 minute answer by belichek on the importance of a long snapper on YouTube

 

I haven't heard anything about Kuntz's status yet. Working out long snappers doesn't necessarily mean kuntz is out long term. The final preseason game is only a few days away so they may just be holding him out as a precaution. Kuntz might very well be fine and available for the Jets game.

If that's the case, we have wasted our planet's natural resources on this thread, causing global warning. For the sake of slowing climate change, and in order to save our democracy, we shouldn't be panicking over Kuntz yet.

 

And then there's N2O.

The upside is not having to listen to calls for Kuntz to be cut because he makes a million a year doing something the backup center could do. Always want to save money by cutting the specialist who makes slightly above minimum. Never understand that logic.

we will soon replace gatorade with geritol. i heard and don't know how true it is that mccade was the only LS tryout that didn't fall asleep and leave the field when gunsmoke came on.

 

Sounds like Kuntz will be out for 6 to 12 weeks for healing time.
