Coverage was fine, he just was late looking for the ball.

 

Except none of our startingDBs are playing. Matter of fact they said 20 of our starters weren't playing

Positioning against your man is only one aspect of coverage. Locating the ball is another. Both need to happen in order to yield a net positive for the Defense. Payton didn't do that and, as a result, a touchdown was the result.

Graham Barton is having some trouble with him. I'd figured that matchup be a lot more hotly contested. My bigger issue is the lack of pass rush thus far... sans a couple pressures.
