Exactly it's a joint practice, and called so for a reason.

I also think the teams can work on their playbook a little more, because unlike Pre Season Games, these practices are not televised live to their opposing 2025 opponents.

Something tells me when the 2 teams play on Saturday, they will be running more of the standard vanilla offense and Defense than what they were running on Thursday behind closed doors.

Local news made note of exactly what you said they could try things they don’t want on tape and they aren’t playing this team this year

Reports say that Mike Evans ate Jalen Ramsey alive throughout practice....
Granted, it is Mike Evans though

It was a small joint practice routine. I'm by no means a defender of Tomlin, but the outcome of this drill - and the preseason as a whole - will be indicative of just shy of nothing.

Games in Pittsburgh and we roll better. My friends have a nice 1:00 game today against the Browns. Sure wish the Steelers were afternoon game.

    M. Evans is probably the most underrated WR in the NFL, and also we don't know what the specific drills are. They could be asking Ramsey to do something they won't ask him to do in the regular season. It could be a number of things.
