More proof that regular season only counts when they want it to count. For Tomlin it doesn't count , but to the same exact people, somehow Lamar Jackson does.

The first 4 are just better

Hurts is a very good QB and can step up big time in big moment and he deserve credit for that, but the eagles have also a great team around him...Much better that a team like Buffalo or Bengals if you look, position per position

The Bills defense have been so bad too often in the playoffs, just look at the tweet in post 16....Chiefs against the Bills in the playoffs since 2020=35 PPG in 4 game...Against every other team for the chiefs,25 PPG

This is a team sports,remember....Hurts had been amazing the super bowl in 2022 but did not win the game because the eagles defense could not make a stop in the second half.It was a problem for the Bills in every playoffs game they have lost since 2020 or for Joe Burrow last season and even for Hurts in the 2023 season when the eagles were bottom 5 on defense and they had a huge collapse

When a QB takes a team that is poised to go to the SB, does just that and takes them to the SB, beats the reigning 2 time champs, AND wins SB MVP.....That's what tier 1 looks like.

The reason why Lamar is not the best QB in the NFL,this is because of the playoffs...At least he is not 0-6 in the last 6 playoffs game

I don't care what was a problem for other teams/QBs. Hurts did his job and did it at a championship level, twice.

Go ahead, start shuffling your goalposts.

Stay Civil please even if you don't agree. This is a team sports, this is my point and yes Hurts did his job but Josh Allen did his job in the playoffs during his career but it was not enough because of the sorry defense of the bills

For the slower people.... Lamar Jackson has never been to a SB, let alone won one. He has 10 tds, 7 int, and 7 fumbles in the playoffs. That's not even average. The only thing that makes people even talk about Lamar is the regular season.....to say anything different is a flat out lie. When he makes one, let alone two SB..... Let me know.

That doesn't make him a better QB than the guy that did get over the hump. Your opinion is just your opinion. My opinion is Hurts deserves what he has earned. Not given to others because of excuses.

First you most definitely move the goalposts when a discussion is not going your way rather admitting you are wrong

    Two he was civil

This is fact, not excuse. If the Bills defense would been able to dominate like the eagles did vs chiefs in the first half in the last super bowl when KC had 1 first down with 2 interceptions and 1 pick 6 in the first 28 minutes, the discussion would been different. You can only control what you can....This is like saying Aikman was better that Dan Marino :roflmao:

Yes, based on production in his limited starts last season Fields was decent. If you except that Rodgers played 17 games, and Russ and Fields had more limited starts with 11 and 6 games respectively.
Fields produced comparably with Mahomes, Love, Murray, Derek Carr, Herbert last season. Those were decent producers last season at quarterback, together with some slightly better decent performers like Darnold, Purdy, Tua, Daniels, and Nix.
Russ and Rodgers were a tier below, comparable to Geno Smith and Matt Stafford. Those were not good enough, not decent. They were not garbage, but not good enough production at quarterback.

They pulled Fields because the offense sucked under him. We had 1 count it , one td by a wr in 6 games he played.
The number one job of a Qb is to distribute the ball to the rest of the team, and to do it safely, and efficiently. Its not magical that all the numbers to our TEs, Wrs, and total offense went up as soon as the Qbs change was made.

This is crazy talk… Fields sucks, proved it in Dallas game against a depleted defense.
That was the proverbial nail in the coffin

Fields had 10 TDs (5 passing and 5 rushing) and 1 int in 6 games.
Russ had 18 TDs and 5 ints in 11 games.
Fields was more productive per game than Russ, and that production for those 6 games puts him in the category of decent quarterbacks last season, albeit in limited action. And Russ was a tier below even though he played the remaining 11 games.

Good bulletin board material for Rodgers

truth is its very difficult to place Rodgers in a tier. He was on a lousy team last year and injured the year prior to that. No one knows what AR has left. He has the potential to be the comeback player of the year or he could flame out. Even he probably doesn't know if hes still got it.

Rodgers may still have some pop left in his arm and he certainly understands the game and how to read defenses. The issue will be his mobility and avoiding pressure. If the line isn’t excellent I’m afraid he will either get injured or turn into check down Ben his last couple years to avoid getting hit.

Young Ben and ARod could both run and move and slide in the pocket. When you get late 30s and early 40s your body just can’t do that anymore with 23 year old monsters looking to kill you.

Brady was an exception but his pre snap intelligence was the best of all time. Nobody is even near that level.

I'm not impressed with Cam Newton's opinion either.
