Now that I have your undivided attention - have you watched any of the show/series on Apple TV called "Stick" with Owen Wilson who is essentially a washed up pro golf champ trying to mentor a teenage wiz bang golfer to compete? It's pretty funny and a perfect role for Wilson. Check it out if you have access to the Apple streaming service. Interesting that it comes out just as HG II is released.

He was headless if Dawson doesn’t show up. Richie stood no chance, child’s play for Duncan. Wont be the last time you feel that way.

Can’t wait. I thought Daniel Craig would be an awful Bond but turned out to be the best one IMO.

Maybe these guys can fill these rolls. They have the acting chops for it.

It was....I felt bad for Richie, but he hasn't been in the last few episodes I've watched. I've seen Dawson on trial, and the last one I watched was the Prophecy, when Duncan fights the guy that can use magic, and the witch he met back when he was a kid is in it. I believe that story was stolen from a Conan story, because I said put wax in your ears, that's what Conan did, and sure freaking enough, that's exactly what Duncan did.

I made my poor dad take me three times to see Aliens :lolol:

Saw it 4 times total in the movie theater. Most I’ve ever seen a movie in the theater. Thought Reese was the coolest character. I had already liked the actor Michael Bein from Terminator.

I believe it's the most I've ever seen a movie at the theater also. I said 5- 7 times at a theater in Commerce Texas.

Alien Earth starts today on Hulu/Disney +. I've stayed away from much info, but I've seen one review that said it's amazing, and what fans have been waiting for, and another right after that saying "Disney has made a mockery of our beloved franchise." So I don't know what to expect, but of course I'll make up my mind for myself. I don't care what reviewers say, I care if I like it. Looking forward to starting it this evening.

    @Ray D@Ray D , and @Blast Furnace@Blast Furnace .
Blast How did you know that was the next episode I would watch, did You go look them up, or just remember??
Richie showed up , and was still freaking about Duncan trying to take his head, and then they showed Dak Prescott(dude looked like him) punking Duncan back in the day, and so asked Richie to let him fight him. It was a great episode.
Here is the question. If I was an Immortal, and when someone cut someone's head off, could I push them out of the way, and take the gathering of their strength, and power, instead of the person who did the cutting??? You know if I got them far enough away for the body???
    I've been wondering this. LoL

Since Michael Biehn and I are Snake River rafting BBFs (LOL), "Reese" was actually his character in Terminator (Kyle Reese and father of John Conner, Sarah Conner's kid) and Dwayne Hicks was his character in Aliens. I know, picky picky but I know Johnny Ringo would want to set the record straight. :lolol:

    IDK.

On one hand, we saw Amanda steal a kill from Duncan, back up, and get the quickening.

But we've also seen immortals absorb a quickening from someone they didn't kill (Richie with the railroad tracks and when the hunters beheaded someone).

In short, whatever the plot needs I guess. :lolol:

Yup, brain fart! But Reese was equally cool. Of course they were basically the same character :lolol:

I remember your rafting story, now thats really cool.

That was a great episode, he shamed Duncan, told him where he would be if his knees ever stopped shaking. Ouch.

MacLeod grew quite a bit as a swordsman since that encounter. Kicked “Daks” ass!

    Dak :lolol:

Ditto for The Abyss and The Rock. He was type-cast a lot but sure played in a number of big movies. I think he befriended me a bit because he was pumping me for a lot of info about the dark skies over Hell's Canyon and one of my hobbies is basic astronomy. Turns out at the time he was filming a TV limited series called Asteroids and wanted to know how real or lame the script really was. The script was fairly accurate but the movie kind of sucked after it came out. :lolol:

All correct. I was thinking then If I was a new Immortal , I would figure a way to use that, so I could get stronger quickly.

LoL. You can't say He didn't look like Dak Prescott. As soon as he showed up I said.....oh crap Dak. LoL.
Yeah it was kinda cool to see Duncan humbled, and scared.

Well, I mean, can you blame Duncan? He was a young immortal still. Still within what would have been his normal lifespan. And this guy just killed the teacher of the teacher of his teacher. (Duncan>Connor>Ramirez>Graham Ashe) And he didn't just beat him. He didn't just outclass him. He downright EMBARRASSED Graham. It wasn't even a contest. Duncan stood zero chance - not even a puncher's chance - at besting Clay. Of course he was terrified.

Dickish move by Clay in the first place taunting Duncan. It would be like knocking a little kid's Dad out, and then asking if he wanted to throw hands - and mocking him and calling him a pu$$y for not wanting to fight.

Duncan should have never given Clay the option of walking away. Then again, maybe he wanted Clay to take his offer, and then mock him before beheading him anyway. THAT would have been awesome.

I watched the 1st Alien Earth episode and about half of the 2nd so far. As a long time fan of the movies, I have to say I'm really enjoying it. I didn't see anything that takes away from the history of the movies so far, and they did a great job of capturing the feel of the Alien universe. Not perfect, but better than I had hoped.

One thing that was pretty cool was that
the opening couple of minutes of the 1st episode were almost a shot for shot recreation of the original Alien movie, just with different characters on a different ship. Clearly intentional, but pretty cool.

Exactly what I thought He was going to do when he said ....leave, and this is over, or something to that affect. I thought he was going to mock him. Of course Duncan is a better man than me, so it may not have even crossed him mind to do such a thing.
