Speaking of washed up QB's the Falcons announced today that they are benching Kirk Cousins for the rest of the year and are going with Michael Penix. They're only a game out of first so this is kind of a surprising move but Cousins has been awful the last few weeks.

When I first saw that commercial I wondered how an absolute bum like Levis was being a national spokesman for a product. What's next? Anthony Richardson being the spokesperson for Heinz Mustard?

    Either
    A. Some people trying to start drama
    Or
    B. Some people don't know he's started a few games already and sucked.

He also doesn't have a RT on the Offensive line. His bad game was against Bill and Detroit and he had them competitive till half time till Titans special teams gave up 3 TD in one game and defense couldnt hold the other. His OL kept committing penalties when they had a drive going. They became one dimensional because they were behind and he had to throw. Without a RT that was impossible. He was responsible for 2 out of three Titan wins. It will be interesting how he plays against Colts. He hasn't regressed from his form last year in my opinion. In the first game that he played and won, his receivers also dropped four catches that hit them right in the hand.

Living in TN, I've always wanted to like the titans but holy sh!t do they royally suck and getting worse and worse. They are constantly fire selling their best players, canned a good coach, and can't seem to draft for shat. Levis is a joke who sucked in college and sucks in the NFL. Rudolph getting the start over Levis is less about him being good but about Levis being bad, reeaaally bad. The owners are clowns and we get stuck watching crappy titans games on TV every damn week here.

His decision making ability and getting rid of the ball quickly sure have improved. He had the one play where he held onto the ball too long but other than that he was very decisive and accurate.

The sack play? That was painful to watch especially since the Jags conceded 1st down yardage if only all the receivers weren't flooding the middle.

I believe that was also the play that Johnson did drop out, and stayed into block, if I'm remembering it correctly.

Yeah that was it. Johnson was supposed to chip and slip out in the flat but stayed in to block. Of course after waiting for about 5 seconds for Johnson to go out for the pass it should have dawned on Mason that it just wasn't happening and threw the ball away.

Winner. I was just going to say, yes Johnson screwed up, but Mason knows better than that, or should.

Eh, Idk about a Baker-like jump... But he could QB our current offense and do a nice job. He's really improved the past couple years. He was a KFP injury and Mitch sucking away from being out of the league... Now he's regarded as one of the higher tier back ups the league has to offer. We're fine if Rodgers goes down (which I hope doesn't happen). He's more of a Geno Smith type trajectory, but I get the sentiment here.

He gave Tomlin the credit for his turn around. Rudolph said Tomlin's emphasis on goal line passing this camp has made him adapt at getting the ball out quickly and throwing into a tight window. Kurt Warner bounced in and out of the league for awhile until a season of Arena football. Warner learned that because of the narrow field you had no choice but to get the ball and fire it quickly into a tight window. When he got his chance with the Rams he kept that style going.

yes but it at least happened in preseason as a learning experience for both. mason knows that but was probably caught off guard expecting johnson to get there even late. similar to the holding call on cook when thompson ran towards his block and tried to make the edge. he kind of set his lineman up to fail. again a good thing it happened in preseason where it is a teaching tool.
