Still, I can't fault it. My friend we would all change things after the matter, but at the time, I can't fault it.

Ben usually sucked when coming back from an injury, I remember him getting outplayed by Ryan Mallett and losing to Baltimore.

at your age you would need to run backwards

You’d get killed running forward :smiley1:

Ben seemed to suck after any extended break. Game after the bye week. Extra week off in playoff/superbowl

I do 2 forward, and 2 backwards 5 times a week, for....hell I can't even remember since when, but You maybe correct, one of these days my body won't let me. My lower back is the biggest complainer.

People seek out echo chambers too much these days. Ben is a former player and has insight into the game that fans do not have. You don’t have to agree with him but to dismiss him or put his opinion down is silly.

I certainly don't dismiss him at all but at the same time don't listen to it. For myself it has less insight and more about beer promotions :hehehe:

In the last episode Ben talks about it being a bad idea for starters to sit out the entire preseason. Ben particularly singles out Jaylen Warren sitting out games, even though Jaylen has never been an NFL starting RB.

When I look at the list of starters sitting out Saturday's game against Tampa, I really do have to scratch my head on why they think, Jaylen Warren, a player that has never been #1 on the depth chart doesn't need the practice with the 1st team O-Line in the game.

Everyone on this list has NFL starting experience except Jaylen Warren.

These 14 Steelers have been confirmed as healthy scratches ahead of the preseason Week 2 matchup vs. the Buccaneers.
    • QB Aaron Rodgers
    • WR DK Metcalf
    • TE Jonnu Smith
    • TE Pat Freiermuth
    • LG Isaac Seumalo
    • RB Jaylen Warren
    • CB Joey Porter Jr.
    • CB Darius Slay
    • CB Jalen Ramsey
    • S DeShon Elliott
    • LB Patrick Queen
    • DT Cam Heyward
    • OLB T.J. Watt
    • K Chris Boswell

It is like that old game; Which one of these is not like the other?

Come on brice. Really? While Warren hasn’t been the starter he does have 3 years of experience in the nfl. Not just sitting on the practice squad. What does he have 350-400 carries and 150 receptions? So while he wasn’t the “starter” he has a lot of in game exp and is the starter this year.

Is Ben even friends with his sidekick outside of the podcast, or is he literally just a friend for hire? I swear I've seen the guy as a co-host on other podcasts, which makes me think it might be the latter, which is kinda sad. Surely Ben has some actual friends peers from the NFL to discuss Footbahlin' matters with...but, I could also see where maybe that wouldn't necessarily be the case, which - as a huge fan of Ben's work during his time in Pittsburgh - is a depressing possibility to consider.

Either way - outside of the rarer occasions when Ben and other guy are actually watching/commenting on a live game - I find the podcast painfully pedestrian and generally boring overall, with Ben's hottest takes usually only being noteworthy only for how unnecessary they can sound. Of course, to be fair, I'm not a huge fan of podcasts in general, so maybe my criticisms are just a me thing.

I have seen absolutely nothing from Warren that leads me to believe his is capable of being a starting RB in the NFL. 48 games played and has averaged 7 attempts per game.
