There is too much parity in the NFL for regular blow out wins. I think the average margin of victory is like 10 or so points.

No way Howell even sees the field anyway... unless both Rodgers and Rudolph are out, which is highly unlikely.

I'm not putting too much into it. Pre-season is important to a point. I've seen Josh Dobbs and Kenny Pickett look like great pre-season successes and then it didn't translate.

All that matters is that if Will Howard ever gets into a real game, he's got to prove that he can never be taken out again. That is the only metric that matters.

Maybe it happens this year, crazy stuff happens, especially with injuries. Steelers went from Big Ben to Rudolph to Duck Hodges all inside of 5 weeks once.

Heal up and keep learning, best thing Howard can do. Eventually he will get a chance.

Exactly! Had he stayed healthy through the preseason he would STILL be the #3 QB this year. We would STILL draft a QB in the first round next year. His (realistic) ceiling as a pro would STILL be as a decent backup QB.

I haven't seen so much excitement here about a backup QB since Duck Hodges.

    Wow.
    Why be concerned?
    1. We have no solutions at QB.
    2. Rogers is 41.
    3. Masons is, well Mason.
    4. We would like to see if he has anything. (I don't think he's a Brady)

You are absolutely correct, because we have never beaten Flacco. LoL
