Underdog is always better than being top dog. Top dog has expectations, underdog just has to show up and wow. Im pulling for him because he has the right attitude and mindset but its hard when you the guy.

Cliff’s notes here, but kazora basically said it was shocking because he was so impressive as a udfa.Hopefully it’s not as you said and it was nothing more than a bad day

I'd be interested to see who the backers were since the theme so far this camp has been the defense has a chip on their shoulder and aren't pulling punches. Backs on backers has always favored the D and sounded like some were looking to put out some good tape.

Kazora always takes notes and posts them to steelersdepot. You could comb through that to see who Warren was paired with

    Strength and Conditioning you mean.

This is the second hire Tomlin has made that has an indirect connection with his son Dino in Phil Matusz. The first?! Matt Canada. Look how that turned out.

I am not saying... I am just saying...

I am jealous jeh. I have yet to board a train. Had a plan last month to take the train to Montreal and see comedian Matt Rife and if the guy didn't postpone until Dec 29th.. Rats. I am not going to Montreal at the end of Dec. Too damn cold and cuts into my hibernation.

    No

Nothing is 100% preventable in this regard

These are large men over stressing their bodies playing a fast violent game

I never had alot of reason to go to Quebec. Being from Ontario there is some level of hate for that province.. There is nothing for me there although I have heard the Christmas market is fabulous. Practice up on your french bro :)

The question that killed the trainer and medical staff, was something like "Do you believe the staff helped you with injuries" The Steelers had the worst percentage of players that thought the Steelers staff helped them with their injuries.

Ranks dead last 32 out of 32. You have to quit saying they have an excellent staff, as dead last is not EXCELLENT in anyone's dictionary!

    AI Summation from Google"
Areas of Concern and Player Feedback
    • Facilities and Ownership Investment: Player feedback indicates a perceived lack of resources and investment in the facilities. Only 44% of players who responded feel owner Art Rooney II is willing to invest in upgrading facilities. Rooney received a "D" ownership grade in the 2025 NFLPA report card, ranking 28th among 32 NFL teams.
    • Strength and Conditioning Staff: The team ranked poorly in this area, with only 75% of players reporting individualized training plans, ranking 31st out of 32 teams. Players also felt the strength coaches only slightly contributed to their overall success.
    • Training Staffing: Players felt the team was understaffed in both the weight room and training room.
    • Treatment of Families: The Steelers received low marks in a 2024 survey for the treatment of families, including lacking a family room or daycare on gamedays. However, the team added gameday daycare services after being noted for lacking it in the 2024 season.

There are over 350 soft tissue injuries alone sustained across the NFL every year. That's an awful lot for something that's 100% preventable.

Fine,I was wrong with that but I think the injury of Wilson last season before training camp and even Pickens late in the season could have been avoided in my opinion.

The question I ask, because I don't know, how many in the 350,it was during the practice during the season?

No I did not say that

You are like that other idiot misquoting people

I said they have an excellent medical staff and I am correct

You and several others have no idea what the difference is between the training staff and the medical staff

Ok Brice mine was a trick question because I knew you had nothing to back up your claim

I knew this because it was wrong

This information is easy to find if you actually try

First off the Steelers were 28th out of 32 they were not dead last

You made claims about the medical staff and the medical staff is not even part of the questionnaire

Stop using Google AI and actually look up facts

Here if you want to learn what you are wrong about

Again I'd be interested in player responses that offered insight into what rating they gave. Im sure guys from Wisconsin, Ohio State, Michigan, USC, Alabama, Florida State or other big program schools will be used to large staff, state of the art facilities, 24 hrs availability and so on. Guys from Kent State, NDSU, Temple, Rice, BC, Harvard and smaller programs might not be expecting gold star service and guys who are from really small schools or semi pro league invites might only be expecting lunch before given travel arrangements back home. So I need more context for random surveys that offer little reason behind them.

Troy Polamalu's views on diet, strength training and general body recovery were considered to be somewhat extreme 15 years ago but I think he had the right idea even then. The league and the players union aren't preaching health and wellness like they should be.

I think they have reached the point where science and technology have taken the human body to the point where soft tissue injuries as well as season ending injuries can happen more frequently. Many of these athletes train to the point where something has to give, the forces and stresses are too great. Ziggy Hood would post pics of his back muscles during workouts which hey that's great if you are a competitive wieghtlifter it does nothing if you pull a hamstring trying to pull rush a 350 pound interior lineman. Like I said to Brice just a minute ago Troy P's workout regimen used nothing beyond 20 pound kettlebells and what he could do was amazing.

First time I watched my dad do that and watch him rack up a free game I couldn't believe what I was seeing and realized just how much pinball my dad played growing up.

A decade or two back I read an interview with a baseball manager. He said the athletes today were such finally tuned machines the slightest injury could hold them out for weeks. He really preferred old school players
