Would you trade away two 1st round picks for Patrick Mahomes? That would be a slam dunk yes for me.

Of course the problem is you could trade up and get a Jamarcus Russell.

So no doubt there is great risk, but with great potential for reward.

The problem is, it seems evaluator miss at the QB position more than they hit.

I have confidence in Khan and Weidl to make the appropriate move if they did need to trade two 1st round picks and then some.

No risk no reward. Tom Brady and Joe Montana's aren't all that common.

It's hard not to pick a Manning if one is available.

Or You could trade 3 first round picks, and a 3rd like 49ers did for T. Lance, and never really use Him.

I'm not some super QB evaluator of talent but there was nothing on Trey Lance's college game to me that would warrant giving up that much draft capital.

That was simply dumb, desparate, or both.

I agree. I believe it was like a lot of HCs, they seen some things they liked, and believed they could coach up the rest.

Meatloaf song comes to mind. 2 out of 3 ain’t bad. I’d like to make sure it’s a great pick than to rely on the jersey name. Don’t know much about the young kid but no doubt he is getting attention.
