I actually think were going to have bigger problems on the left side of the offensive line. Broderick Jones is a big concern. He just seems unmotivated. He is supposedly a good athlete but he just isn’t progressing. I read and article where they (the Front Office) expressed a concern of Jones’s lack of motivation. He doesn’t seem to be getting the technique down. Not sure how you can’t develop your hands but that seems to be his weakness. Seamalu is concern simply due to his age and the fact he never really recovered well from the injury last year. Hopefully this year will be better.

I felt like they should have just left Jones at RT and played Fautanu at Left. Why would you play your worst O lineman on the QB’s blindside? This whole moving him back to his natural position thing is a joke. He is going to be just as much of an issue there if not more of one than he was last year at RT.

If he fails I would honestly look to develop our big TE into a Tackle and move Jones to guard next year. Doesn’t help us this year but it saves us from having to draft for OT and G next year.

washington may be jones best helper. i disagree about making washington a tackle. he needs to be made a TE and not the 6th lineman. we have a few young guys they need to look at at guard and tackle first. i wouldn't mind seeing fautanu get a few looks at LT and then if jones doesn't work out find a RT. which may already be here. we have a lot of young guys here. i want to see what they can do first before we even think about drafting.

We shall see. I don't care how long ago it was, this team still has 6 rings, and has been to 8 SBs. They aren't stupid. NFL isn't changing that much. You still got teams that haven't even been to a SB, let alone win one.

I do believe that Art II was the catalyst for the Canada firing watching this garbage offense. But Bags Tomlin did him a solid by hiring him. Dino Tomlin was recruited to Maryland in 2018 by Canada who was interim head coach at the time. So there is history there. Canada was hired in 2020. He also was the Offensive coordinator for Pitt in 2016.

Coaches at every level typically get hired because of who they know. They don't use Indeed.com or such. It is interesting to read coaches history and see how they connect.

I didn't say he had no history with Tomlin. I said he has more history with Rooney.
