53 man roster. Everyone won't be an elite. These guys both had a good year in 2024 IMO. No reason for them not to be here.

Tomlin was asked about when Broderick will be back to practice. He said that he will be out there tomorrow. He does not say what he will be doing, but at least he will be there.

Tomlin talks to the press today (Tuesday)

That's what I was trying to explain earlier, but to someone else. He may not be a good coach, but with what ,and the youth he's had to work with, it's hard to tell. I did see some get better under him so far.

Hes been here 3 years and the line is not improving. This is a make or break year for him. I get that the line is young but so far only Frazier has played good ball. Everyone else has been average to below including Daniels and Seamolu.

So, does this count as a padded practice according to the rules? Before going in they were outside wearing their pads.

There is a maximum of 16 padded practices allowed by the CBA

Janes Pierre was such a disappointment as a CB, but watch him on special teams as a gunner and you will know why he makes the team.

Killebrew and Pierre are your aces on special teams.

I don't understand stand the love for Connor Heyward on special teams, reminds me of Derek Watt's Special teams play. Nothing special here

Darius Heyward-Bey added 5 years to his NFL career in Pittsburgh playing special teams.

an injured prized FA, essentially a 1st round rookie RT, a 1st rounder LT that used to be the RT, 2nd rounder, 7th rounder and a 4th rounder. there you go fixed that for ya.

skowronek and mark robinson were also very good on ST's last year. a couple of these guys may not be here or on the PS to start. what they bring to a position will determine who is kept. it's a shame too. i can see ST's taking a small hit from last year. they were a very good ST's unit.

No, it doesn't count as a padded practice.

The Steelers will return to a standard practice routine at 1:55 p.m. Wednesday. It will be the first time the players practice in pads.

Odd because many teams have had already had a few days of padded practice.

If this were an established offensive/defensive unit, the Steelers would most likely have been in pads already as well. So many new parts this season. I don't blame them for taking their time.

It depends on when those teams reported I'm sure every team their first four days of practice are without pads.

This training camp is no different than in years past. Three days of conditioning etc, a day off, and then the pads come on. They will have two consecutive days with pads followed by a pad less practice, and then two more days of padded. Because of the storm yesterday the padded and pad less practices will alter a bit this week. If they were to have two padded sessions then Friday night lights would be a pad less practice.

Johnson could be our starter at the start and Warren with the same role in the last few years

Teams playing in the Hall Of Fame game tomorrow, were allowed to start a week early.

Try Lance will get the start for the Chargers. Funny, I think the last time he played in a Preseason game for the Cowboys he threw 5 Ints. I never was able to find out if that was a preseason record or not. :)

That was more pics than Jerry traded to get him from the 9's I think. lmao May be wrong, but did they not give up a 4th rounder to get him.

The NFL Network is now showing training camp at Latrobe. Coming up will be first team offense against first team defense with 7 shots from the 2 yard line.

You know, there is something about this camp. Well, other than a bunch of rain that seems to be on cue.
The team looks good. I hope this atmosphere carries into the season.
I'm not saying Super Bowl by any stretch, but it 'looks' like we'll field a pretty good team.

Worried about Harmon and black hitting the rookie wall late in the season.
