Before anyone retorts, you got to have a non losing season to make playoffs. I am just polling to see if A playoff win is more important than this ran into the ground Non Losing Seasons

 

Super Bowl or bust. I’d rather go 1-16 than lose another first round playoff game!

 

The steelers are remaining status quo “competitive”with non losing seasons but with no realistic shot at a super bowl run. Been this way since 2017 really. Sometimes you have to trade a couple fading stars to pickup draft picks to build a contender again even if it means suffering a losing season or two.

and sometimes you have cut bait with your 18 yr coach with a stale message and bring in someone with fresh ideas and energy.

steelers have refused to do both. I wish they did.

we picked up Ben after a losing season. We picked up key pieces of Cowhers defense of the 90’s after losing seasons of the late 80’s.

 

I honestly don't know. We have changed so many pieces. However with no major coaching changes, scares me to think it'll be rinse and repeat.

 

Their standard right now is a 9-8 type team with a wild card loss after being underdog by 9-10 points and down by 21 points at some point during the game

About the only person concerned with non loosing seasons appears to be you

 

super bowl victory and nothing less should be the goal every year. the other things in your poll goes hand in hand with that.

Every fan wants the Steelers to get back to winning championships. ALL OF US!

We have differing opinions how to do that.


I never want to have a losing season. I never want to lose a game. But weird thing is I don't want to win the SB every single year. That would be boring and I would lose interest in the sport altogether. Sort of a paradox.


This is season 3 under Omar's management. Watch and learn.

Actually, Seattle made the playoffs with a losing record and won a game.

 

So... you want to cheat?

 

With so many new pieces on the team, we actually have a beneficial schedule to start the season off. September has four games that we can win. We're not facing any of the juggernauts and that will give us a little bit of time to bring the pieces together.

Obviously we can lose to any team, but I would rather start out with a little bit of an easier schedule to allow the team to gel a little bit.
