Per CBS Sports, Top 10 Steelers this century

Nice read and ranking of top 10 Steelers post 2000. Hard to argue with this ranking and narratives. Not much recent success, but a nice positive spin on these players (before the floor dropped out for a few of them).

Ben is definitely first. I'd also drop AB all together. I'd take Farrior, the Beard, Big Snack, and even Lev Bell over that POS.

I'm ok with the top 10, though I'd put AB over Ward (sorry, knoxvegas).

I dont agree with giving Minkah honorable mention. I think he's a great player, and we were too critical about his lack of splash plays lately, but Ike Taylor belongs above him.

Ike was often overlooked because he sucked at interceptions, but he'd shut down every team's #1 receiver week after week.

 

Id give Boz an honorable mention, for sure.

If anything, Brown is too low. He was the best in the game at his position for years.

 

Id take Hines longevity, leadership and heart over someone like AB all day everyday. AB had a great 4/5 year stretch statistically but you don’t win anything with those types of players.

 

How could they leave Mitch Berger, Superbowl winning punter off the list!!? Do better CBS

 

I don’t care for the guy personally but that doesn’t counter the fact you are correct
