yes - but that was decades ago.

Did NOTHING (well...very little - just 1 AFGCG) his final 12 years.

that is what I meant - should have been clearer - his final 12 years, it was awful, best offense in the league and COULD NOT WIN

It's funny Arians didn't look like an offensive innovator with Jameis Winston at QB, he owes that Super Bowl win to Brady.

True,I was just kidding with you!

I still think a franchise QB is crucial to win,at least you need a QB who can step up in big moment, otherwise you need a A+ roster to just have a chance(like the 49ers with Jimmy, they had all, great defense, good supporting cast on offense, great coaching but Jimmy G was one of the worst QB in the fourth quarter and it kill the 49ers like in super bowl 54 in 2019) but of course, franchise QB with a trash roster or poor defense is too hard to overcome

He won the COY twice in his short career and he is the best head coach in Arizona Cardinals history

yes - Franchise QB's make a HUGE difference - it was just one of my points, in that post.

some here think that is ALL we need.

we HAD that and Ben and Tomlin screwed it up for a SOLID 10 years.

I still say it's because the other pass rushers don't pull their weight.
Think back to not very long ago what happened when James Harrison, Woodley , Lloyd, or Green, Porter, and so on would get doubled, and doubled, and checked, the others would make them pay for it. Now when TJ get that happening, if it's not Heyward, nobody does anything.

He's good, but He's still a outlier. If You are only one , or two of running Qb to ever win a SB, You are a outlier.....no matter how You, or anyone may feel about it.
Until that is a common thing, that will make him a outlier....look up what that word means.

Maybe look up the word Outlier, and it will answer all of Your questions, because I'm tired of repeating myself today.

Agreed. Some people think because of what happened with Brady, and Belichick , it should happen every where. Let's look at Bradshaw he had 10 HOF players almost his whole career, and the great Noll, and yet only went to 4 SBs. The great Montana had a team full of HOF players, and only went to 4 SBs. Yet Ben with two different HCs, and only 1 HOF player that played more than 2 years with him went to 3, and that is somehow terrible. LoL

Lamar and Allen are better that him and maybe Daniels in Washington could be in the future....This is still a team sport....I mean Josh Allen has been great in his career in the playoffs but no easy to overcome when your coaching staff is always outcoached against Andy Reid and Spag who often call the right play at the perfect time

According to your logic,Mahomes was a outlier for the conference title game last year since he was the only one with under 100 run among the 4 QBs

There’s reason for hope during our rebuild. Bears extended their GM Ryan Poles. now we re-sign claypool and trade him again and trade peanuts for Caleb Williams

The key to success is drafting every player you can from the Delmarva area. I hear that region is a hot bed for football talent.

The Steelers know Watt dissappears in big games.
He will get his money and the Steelers will win nothing.
    And the calendar will turn.

I understand outlier, but you're acting like the kid sucks.... He's a very good player. It really isn't that surprising that he won a SB with a really good team around him, nor is he an "outlier" type of player. He's just a product of the new NFL.

Based off of your posting history, I can only assume you mean that Hurts is the only running QB that has ever won the SB? I told you this was going to happen.... its only going to keep happening too, so get used to it. Going into next year, 4 of the top 10 QB's run the ball 7 times or more a game (Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, Jayden Daniels). Someone out of this group is going to get a SB in the next couple years (hopefully not Lamar bc fk the Ravens). Just be prepared lol

I agree with this for sure. It isn't easy to make a ton of SB's, we can't look back at Ben's career and think that 3 appearances and 2 wins is somehow bad. Peyton Manning had great teams around him in Indy and only went to 2. He went to 2 more in Denver at the end of his career, but still. Manning is likely the second best ever.... and he only made one more than Ben did.

The only disagreement is that I do think that he will have more than 1 HOF player that played more than 2 years with him. Brown could make it. Ward still could make it. Pouncey will make it. DeCastro could as well. Watt will make it, he played more than 2 years with Ben. Harrison is an outside chance but could sneak in... If I had to guess; Polamalu, Watt, Pouncey, DeCastro, and Brown (I hope so bc he deserves it) are probably going to be the HOF guys from Ben's tenure. Ward and Harrison will just miss. 4 locks, one tweener bc he's an idiot human being, and a couple that will just miss. He had teams around him.

I recommend watching his documentary on Netflix, Enigma. It will change your view on him.

He was rehabbing and going all in to comeback that 1st season with Jets where he had the Achilles injury in Game 1 if they made the playoffs. Which is unheard of.

    All his teammates love him.

The documentary debunks a lot of myths about it him.

But You are talking about maybe, and should, of and could bes.....I'm talking about for sures. We know for sure Ben only played with one HOF his whole career, we know for sure that Bradshaw played with about 10, and if we use your way of thinking, some of them may still get in so it will be more than 10, but we can't, we can only go by what we know now, or at least that how I'm basing it.

LoL. Dude you are reading more into it. Nobody said he sucks.
I said he was a outlier. Again to the people that don't understand the meaning.....look it up.
If 5 running Qbs win a SB.....in the History of the NFL as of now they would be outliers.
Tom Brady was an outlier, does that mean I think he sucks??? Again You say you know what a outlier is, and then you write a bunch of stuff that shows that maybe you don't.
No place did I say in this comment that Hurts sucks, I said he was outlier, and I even said , that I would understand of we had drafted him in 2020. How's about stop trying to guess what I mean, and read what I write.......maybe if we didn't have so many Miss Cleos (some may get the reference) on this board, and just read what was written, we wouldn't have so many misunderstandings.
Sent to others that apparently don't understand what a outlier actually is. LoL, but hey thank for trying. Dictionary is your friend.

You certainly shouldn’t be talking to anyone about grammar and dictionaries. I’d stick to the guitar.
