Najee Harris already causing fireworks as a Charger............

........well sort of. He was involved with a July 4th illegal fireworks "incident" in NoCal that injured his eye and apparently several others. He's supposed to be alright for the new season. Wonder if it will affect how he sees open holes......oh wait.

reportedly, the incident happened several times, and Najee ran for 2.1 ypc after each time and didn't fumble the fireworks he was holding, never breaking into a long run at any time.

 

Well it's not like he road a motorcycle into the hood of a car or something.

 

My heart dropped the day that happened.

 

I was in a Pgh hotel watching TV when it happened. I first noticed a large number of emergency vehicles with sirens going by the hotel for quite a while. Curious but not alarmed. But then all of the Pgh tv stations-----all of them-----switched their programs to live reports of Ben's crash and the news.

A while later, I heard a Cleveland Browns fan complain that their high priced free agent signing center LeCharles Bentley blows out his knee on the the first play of his first practice and never plays again. And Ben smashes his face against a car windshield at 40 miles per hour and he's ok. (He was cursing, and more cursing the bad luck of the Browns)

 

I wish him well but it appears he may not be available at the beginning of camp

That could be the end of his career

 

At least he will now have a legitimate excuse for not seeing holes

The last thing Najee needs is anything that will hamper his vision.
