"I think the Steelers giving in," Fittipaldo said. "If you remember the last time, I don't want to say TJ was unhappy with the way that ended, but TJ took the deal that was on the table. And I think that's part of the reason why there's a little bit more of a hard line stance this time."

So, help me understand, the Steelers made Watt the highest paid non-QB in the NFL back in 2021 and now Watt feels it's the Steelers turn to cave on a deal?!?

There are quotes of Kaboly saying it on Pats show. The tweet you posted must have come before that.

art2 may be waiting for TJ to walk into his office again and say OK i'll sign, i'm tired of dealing with agents.

This kind of answers my more immediate concern that he might hold out if he's not extended. I at least want this year that he's still under contract.

If he holds out he will be fined, I think he has to play at least six games this season to get credit for a whole season.

Lmao no need to incorrectly 'fix' anything I say.

It only only makes you look like a fool when I dig up your post later up this season.

No TJ is very much a game changer still and he will show that again. I'll be back

I think they are looking to draft a QB in next year's draft. Maybe trade some draft capital to do so.

Go off a rookie QB deal.

This thought is further enhanced as we just landed TJ for a blockbuster deal, which i think was the right move.

    I guess time will tell.

I get the going after a QB next year, and time will tell for sure, but several other teams have 2 1st's at the disposal, we have a lot of picks but hardly the ammo to move much, especially if you are looking into the top 7 or 8 let alone the top 5. It's not about getting a QB, it's about getting the one you target. What happens will happen, as i wrote getting TJ signed was pretty much a no brainer, but honestly if some team offered some outrageous capitol you would have to weigh it out.

Trey is likely out in Cincy given the standoff.

Micahs up next and that will be all she wrote.
