which of our newer players do you see improving the most this year? i'm hoping peyton wilson on defense.

mason mccormick on offense. honorable mention. roman wilson. nick herbig.

i'm pretty excited to see where sawyer, herbig and wilson go. i think they are going to be pretty special when it's all said and done down the road.

    Troy Fautanu.

Let's see how he handles a full seasons worth of reps.

Honorable mention would be Derrick Harmon. Yes, he is a rookie. That said, he will get a lot more snaps than others think.

The Steelers need numerous players to take a step forward most notably Benton, BroJo & Fautanu and Porter needs to show that he can be a CB1

It would be great if Roman Wilson could become a contributor as well

With Rodgers under Center, i'm thinking Roman Wilson..... the way he moves on the field compare quite favorably to Garrett Wilson in NY....

I'm hoping it's a-a-ron who makes the biggest improvement over what's he's done the past 2 seasons.

    Agreed

But even what he did last season was an improvement over Fields/Wilson last year

Although I agree his stats for 2023 were not good

Roman Wilson is a pretty safe bet. If he can actually take the field that's better than last year. I hope and pray the answer is Broderick Jones though.

The way he moves on the field?
In college? Cause we haven’t seen him on the field in the NFL

I believe the O-line as a whole will make a leap and I know Rodgers hopes it happens.

I believe Harmon will struggle as all Khan's first round draft picks seem to have problems their Rookie Year. (Surgery to repair a partial rotator cuff tear and a labral tear causes his rookie season to be cut short)

BUT, I see Yahya Black Becoming a stud and taking over at NT, allowing Keeanu Benton to slip to the outside and take over as the starting LDE. Yahya is what I think the perfect Steeler NT should look like. 6'5" and pushing 350 pounds. NFL.com has his weight at 336 pounds.

2025 End of year starting D-Line:
    LDE Keeanu Benton
    NT Yahya Black
    RDE Cameron Heyward

    2026 Starting D-Line
    LDE Keeanu Benton
    NT Yahya Black
    RDE Derrick Harmon

    Copilot Answer
    Around 352 lbs
Yahya Black's weight has varied throughout his career. He weighed 317 lbs (143 kg) when playing. Currently, he is reported to weigh around 352 lbs. Pro-Football-Reference.com+1

    My sleeper; Castro.

Watch his tape. This guy knows how to tackle. Shades of Elliot.

Hate to disappoint but coach has already said Black will play DE not NT.

I'm not buying that just yet, I think it will be decided in training camp.

I think that is with the assumption that Harmon is the starting DE this year.

If Yahya shows up at 350 pounds, it is going to be hard to look at him at not think NT.

Trust me when I tell you that I would like nothing more than to see Black at NT. My problem is I don't trust the coaching staff to do the obvious.
