I hear much talk about Reynolds and Hayes being traded, but I don't know. You need a trading partner to make a trade, and their contracts may make it pretty hard to move them. Heaney is a trading piece and could get a contender over the top, but he is only signed for the rest of the year, so I don’t expect a blue chip hitting prospect for him. Keller is under control for longer and will likely bring the best return. A triple A outfielder who is about MLB ready but blocked would be about what I expect.
It is time to see what Hunter Barco and Bubba Chandler can do, and two spots in the rotation will have to be opened up to do that.

This trading period may end up to be underwhelming, but the upcoming winter meetings could be interesting.
Edit: I see that Bubba Chandler pitched six shutout innings yesterday against Louisville. It may be hard to keep him down much longer.

First to go: whoever is to much money for jagoff Nutting.

Who they will get: Don't matter, once they want paid they'll be gone.

Thanks Bob for years of knowing we will suck.

Keller then Bednar. I would move Bart also and just let Davis grind it out and see if he can find his swing. He needs to be playing.

That sounds likely. The most interesting thing about moving Keller may be who replaces him in the rotation. Barco may have eclipsed Chandler at this point.
I would hope they get a decent hitting third baseman for Keller. It is good to have defense, but I saw the Pirates win divisional titles with the likes of Bill Robinson and Bobby Bonilla playing third. Those guys fielded with their bats and would not be mistaken for Brooks Robinson on their best days.
