I had a friend who made a fortune selling lead covered drywall

And all he did in a garage was spray glue on sheets of drywall and lay a sheet of lead on it bigger than the drywall so it would overlap

Ge couldn’t have paid $500 for the equipment but he was the only one doing it so he set the price

I had another friend in a garage that was spraying teflon on frying pans to make a buck and then some Swedish guys walked in and asked him to coat some plastic cases try to guess what that was and how it turned off

I meant a top 10 pick so we can have a chance to get a top QB. When was the last time we had a top 10 pick? I mean you listed everyone!!!

Who knows but I think Tomlin is a good coach but I think his voice might be falling on deaf ears. Maybe Roger’s had another year to get healthy from the Achilles tear. You can’t tell me last years Jets team didn’t have more offensive talent than we do at this current time. I mean they had Breece Hall, Garrett Wilson, Davante Adams, and Bralen Allen is not a bad back either. I mean we have DK. Warren, Jonnu Smith, and Freiermuth. I don’t think we are done picking players up so who knows we could still add a nice receiver.

In CA betting isn't legal, so I have to go to Vegas to place a bet.

We had a top 10 pick when we drafted Devin Bush. They have 12 draft picks next year to move up and get a QB, the Chiefs moved up from #27 to #10 to get Mahomes.

That cost a first a first and a third

If the right guy is there the capital is there

They have 5 thst can help them move up a first a second and three thirds

The rest has minimal value in moving up

Fir example the 2 fourths fifths and sixths might move you from 10 to maybe 8 or 9

When the draft rolls around again in 2026, we may have a completely different 'needs' list. Let's stick to winning the SB in 2025 first. Then maybe we can look at how we need to draft in 2026. Maybe?

This year's offense has replaced Russ Wilson with Aaron Rodgers, added DK, Roman Wilson, Robert Woods, Jonnu Smith, Gainwell, Kaleb Johnson, Rudy, and rookie sensation Will Howard. I'm sure I missed somebody. The OL will have BroJo playing on the left side now, which we have all been told is his 'natural position'. Add another 1st round pick with Fautanu at the RT spot. AND...we still have Muuuuth, CA3, Boz, and Jaylen Warren.

    I am always optimistic. :yeehaw:

I do believe the Jets had a good roster, but I also believe that Tomlin is a better coach than many believe, and with another year from the achilles I believe he will do well here.

I know Im going out on a limb but you may be in a minority here

Although I agree with your assessment I can’t ignore the fact we seem to be stuck in mediocrity along with a lack of playoff success

    It's cool .
I've been in the minority with many of the things I've thought throughout my life.
Like believing that Cowher could win us the Big game. I really really really wish I could show the guys that are in here now, that had different handles back then on the other board, and see how many of them now that praise Cowher, were the same that wanted him gone then.

Many fans hate their HC if they aren't winning SBs. There are Ravens fans seriously arguing about replacing Harbaugh with Jon Gruden. If anything, Gruden should replace Tomlin because Gruden thinks Will Howard is going to be a great one.

this team has to show on the field. on paper it is fairly complete to compete. how it translates to the field will be the tell.

they have given arth a couple of pieces to mold.
mccurly has a couple of pieces to work with.
alexander and midget should be loaded with talent.
martin even without TJ is stacked with potential. with TJ he's really stacked.
meyer has plenty to mold into something.
    faulkner is loaded.
dunbar has a nice mix to work with.
azzanni has a good group to bring along.
    roberts is stacked.

omar has given these coaches the players. we shall see if the head guy and the coordinators thrive with them. yes the pieces are there but can it transfer to the field together?

You mean like the teams with MVP at Qb that can't make it to the SB???
Like the Ravens who have a Qb that has almost won MVPs as many times as he's won playoff games. Like that??? Is that what You mean??
Now if You are talking about the Chiefs, 49ers, or the Eagles who have been to the SB multiple times in the last so many years, I get it, but if You are just talking about these teams that make the playoffs, and lose before reaching the SB, well I don't understand, that's what we are doing with backup, and old men at Qb, but then again, like You said, some people just don't get it.
