I smiled at the line...'this team is made for jan and Feb football'....not for at least the last 8 years. lmao. I get you need a decent D, but you cannot forget about your O. The balancing act is difficult to say the least, we appear stacked on D, but I will believe it at the end of the year.

Uhh....just from experience, and I could be wrong, but I don't believe You can see a rotator cuff tear on a x-ray.

You can tell on xray by how the humerus head is positioned within the glenoid if you have weakness in the rotator cuff. If the humerus is sitting high it could indicate a tear or weakening of the rotator cuff. But you are correct. It will not visualize a tear. That requires an MRI to rule out or confirm.

Tests to diagnose a rotator cuff tear
If your doctor suspects that you have a rotator cuff injury, they'll likely order imaging tests, such as an:

    • X-ray, which shows the structures of your shoulder.
    • MRI, which uses magnets and radio waves to create detailed images of the inside of your shoulder.
    • Ultrasound, which uses sound waves to assess the rotator cuff for signs of inflammation or tears.

We need another WR no doubt. We can’t rely on just DK. I mean this is what we did last year with Pickens. I still can’t believe we got rid of him for absolutely nothing and to the Cowboys at that. I mean that would have been a great duo. Doesn’t matter now but we still need to get a free agent WR. If we stay with what we have we won’t do much. We are very thin at RB as well. I mean Najee was a good back. Our O-line was pretty much terrible the whole time he was there and he still had a thousand yards every season. We keep adding to the D but not doing anything on offense. Rogers is a statue at QB. I don’t think he’s going to be very good this year but I hope I’m wrong. The Jets had more talent on offense last year than we do so far on this year’s team.

A lot of wholes to plug. That’s what happens when you go 9-8 or 10-7 every season and get bounced in the first round of the playoffs. No good draft picks. It’s a nice thing to say about Tomlin that he’s never had a losing season but it keeps us from getting a top pick. It would be different if we made runs but it’s always one and done and it’s not even close.

I thought so, at least from what I went through.
I also have a cousin who played catcher in college, and tore his, and the MRI didn't show anything, but they did a bit of observation exploratory surgery on him, and found out .....Yes he did have a bad tear.

So what will it say then if you believe that Jets had a better Offense if......Rodgers does well here, will doubters, and haters say then that Tomlin is a pretty good HC, or will those same people then try saying it was something else??

I need these odds to stay the same until I can place my bet for over 8.5 wins next month.

Man, those odds for greater than 8.5 wins seem like easy, easy money. I never gamble, but as I’m sitting here rebalancing my investment portfolio, a big swing at those odds somehow seems more rational than many of the more typical investments in this volatile market.

no good draft picks? you don't think frazier was a good pick? peyton wilson? jack sawyer? herbig? mccormick? johnson? howard? black? fuatanu? austin? washington? jones? harmon? wilson? porter? you can't pass that judgement until they get past the first and possibly second year of playing. injuries happen. it doesn't mean they are bad picks.

    Yes

I always suggest taking your retirement savings and betting them on the Steelers

Well… I was thinking of “investing” an amount much less than 0.1% of my retirement accounts’ balance in the Steelers continuing to finish better than .500. I’m not likely to actually do it, but I’ll kick myself when we get that 9th win.

I said the same thing about a month ago. Except I was more sarcastic and said one would be just as well off tossing a hundred bucks at their SB odds, and revisit the market again next March.

    How times and medicine changed

70 years ago my dad had an x ray (fluoroscope) in his office and you just stood there and got an x ray no safety equipment etc dad looked at it real time

Apparently they had even more radiation

I remember the big lead blankets they would drape over you before an xray
