Outside of bragging between your friends.....it's exactly the same to me.
Again it's like a 7- 10 team that didn't make the playoffs bragging about winning more games than the 5-12 that didn't make the playoffs. You both suck, you didn't make the playoffs.
I get that some people get off on a few playoff wins, but I never have, and there is no freaking correlation that you win more playoff games every year till You make the SB. None. It is not a stepping stone, or every team that ever made a AFC, or NFC championship would make the SB the next year, or two, and that's not how it works. It never has.

Maybe get that perspective from a Bills fan. Making the SB4 years in a row is fantastic. Losing the SB 4 years in a row is tragic at best. Competing against the Chiefs in the AFCCG but losing is pretty equal to losing in the wildcard or division round. Just a week later. From a fan standpoint. From the organization? Who knows?

I understand your point to a degree but the stepping stone thing i disagree with. Playoff success and experience is important. It doesn’t guarantee you will win it all the next year but it can certainly help to give you a better chance. Look at Ben’s rookie year and the following year for example.

Winning it all is the ultimate goal but man I would love to be excited for a playoff run again. Right now it’s the same damn thing year after year

He can't see the difference between Sean McVay vs a outdated Jeff Fisher,so don't expect to see him the difference between a wild card round blowout and losing the title game in OT!

Zappe is either with the browns or out of the league right now...For Trubisky,as bad he was with us,he still has a job in the NFL and he still has a winning record as QB in the NFL...The biggest problem in this game,it was the steelers could not contain Zappe in the first half...Remember,in the few games before, the pats could not win a game despite their defense allow only 10 and 6 points,so 18 points should have been enough against this sorry offense but it was not enough

It doesn't change the fact Trubisky was terrible, and he had a losing record with the Steelers. In the 2023 season I think Trubisky was the only QB to not get a win . Zappe made some plays in the first half and they got a lead, it was still a winnable game but Trubisky couldn't get it done.

I agree with you partly. A lot depends upon expectations going into the season. Take the Redskins last year, the year before they were 4-13 but last season made it all the way to the NFC championship game. That is a very successful season for them, on the other hand teams like the Bills or Ravens they are expected to win championships so anything other than a Superbowl appearance is a complete failure.

Um, your team hasn't won a postseason game since 1/17/2017. That sucks ass. I don't give a damn how you try and rationalize your dumbshît. If you can't win a WC game, you'll never make another SB. Tomlin's postseason record over the past 15 years is fųcking pitiful and he'll never win another SB in Pittsburgh. Let's be real. Tomlin needs to go.

If you look at the Bills last season,it was not that much a failure since they were in a transition period since they let go so many veteran players after the 2023 season...And sometimes, this is a fine line between a failure and a great season....When you lose a coin toss game, this is more heartbroken but at least they had a shot against a very good team....But when you lose every playoffs game by being down 21-0 almost every year, this is just embarrassing

The first thing you need if you want to compete and have a chance to win the super bowl, you need to be at least competitive against top team in a playoffs game and maybe at some point the coin flip will be on your side

For ever example You give me as a stepping stone I can give You 5 that it's not. Jets made two AFC Championships back to back....how many SBs did that get them???

How many players are still on the roster since colberts final draft? Is it well below 25%? Does that include the likes of Robinson, Leal, loudermilk, Heyward jr…. All players that are likely to be looking for other work in several weeks? Do we have an entirely new wr room? Oline? Running back? Qb?
Sorry that this rebuild doesn’t fit in the fancy little box of rules you’ve dreamt up

I realize we're not addressing Her Majesty's Royal Court on this board, but are comments like this really necessary?

I'd like to think that we can disagree more civilly here.
