Top D-Line in the league

i think they could be this year. now several guys are rookies this year. TJ is in that contract holdout. highsmith had a pretty bad year last year. a couple of guys that should be gone are. cam is a year older. i do believe they can be quite good but like the whole team with the new players, will it come together in a year? this is why i'm so reluctant to bet on the all in type of team. next year it all could change again.

Did anybody watch football last year? The Eagles had the best D line, hands down, in the NFL. Nobody else was close. Was Jalen Carter traded?

 

If we're talking Steelers D line with OLBs included.... Watt and Heyward are definitely above average, but not as good as the Eagles. Not even close. The rest of Steelers "D line" is mediocre at best.

 

The Ravens are shaking in their cleats at the prospect of facing our DL. We might hold them to a meager 200 yards rushing the next time we play them.

 

That was my immediate thought too. The Eagles consistently did with 4 people what most teams could not with 5 or 6. My second thought was 'did the Eagles lose a bunch of D line guys? So I looked and they did lose a few defensive players, but only 3 starters from what I saw. They should be really strong again this year.

The Steelers will undoubtedly have a strong defense again, but we tend to fade as the season goes on (never getting to the SB with that pattern). Our defense spends too much time on the field during the season. We need more offense so that the D can rest more instead of try to get us the win every game.

 

Well that tends to happen when the Qbs fail to help score, and yet many still wanted to resign Fields, and Pickett.

 

Need many players to step up their game. Looked horrible last 5 games of last year.

 

The Eagles DL is good, but they lost like 4 guys from last season.

 

Actually they still have at the least their starting 3

 

Do we also have the best QB room in the league as well?
