It's very likely that either the Bills or Ravens make the Superbowl this season. Both teams were outstanding last season and have improved going into the coming year. The Chiefs with Mahomes always have a chance but I think that they are now a slight step behind the other 2 teams.

they said that last year as well. the chiefs made the super bowl and buffalo again came up short and so did the ravens. cinci was also said to have been ready to win it when they were close. none of the 3 have won it with the current better teams than us. we did however win it as a last seed wild card team before they added extra teams. each season brings a different team. one injury could derail the whole thing for anyone. what it say's on paper before the season means very little.

I don’t think anyone with half a working brain cell is picking the bengals to win the Super Bowl. Not with that defense

that is where a balanced team comes in. all the money tied up in the offense. we are the opposite.

While it is true we spent a lot of money on the defense. Implying it’s because we don’t value offense or aren’t attempting to build a balanced team is rather disengenous. As it ignores the fact how many players on offense are on their first contract. We also aren’t paying 40-50 million to a franchise qb.

You're correct about injuries. The Bills, Ravens, Chiefs, Eagles or any of the top contenders for the Superbowl are toast if they lose their starting QB for the year.

They have been since 2018. 2017 was their last year they had playoff run potential and we know how that turned out. They’ve been hanging around mediocre - a little better than 500 since then. I hope, Tomlin or Rooney are not satisfied with this just above 500 bs. Getting AR (even the 42 yr old version) does give some hope for this year.

We have been hearing about the Bills and Ravens taking that next step for the last few years, neither one has shown they can beat the Chiefs in the playoffs.

That's what I'm talking about. We finally picked up a qb for a year and get a wr that has changed the balance a bit, but it's still lopsided. We do have seumalo and muth as well as Warren and gainwell which also help the balance. We will be paying TJ possibly though. Porter will be next. Cam, minkah, queen, highsmith, slay, harrison, thornhill, lowry, holcomb. Much more added to the defense. 105 mil. on the offense this year. When seumalo and Rogers and warren come off next year it will drop again. we have right now a 74 million dollar difference in offense and defense.

One of these days the Bills or the Ravens will beat the Chiefs in a playoff game. Then it will be all "I told ya so's" from that 1 poster. Maybe this year, maybe next year, but it's coming. Just you wait and see.

Just like Steelers haven't beaten Patriots in playoffs since Kordell Stewart and Drew Bledsoe were QBs.

Allen is a gutsy QB. He has come so close. If not the Steelers I'd love for Allen to make the Bills 1-4 in SB's.

I think only time we beat Pats in Playoffs was that high scoring 7-6 win back in the 90's. Home or away I can't remember. Pretty sure we have not beat them since. I'm just so happy the NFL didn't re-align the Pats into our division;) Brady twice a year.

I remember back in 2001 when the divisional re-alignment happened and the mighty AFC Central was split into the North and South..... on the Sporting News Ravens forums, some of their fans were pissed that Ravens were not in the AFC East. They said the Bills should be with all the inbred, hilljacks in Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Cleveland. :lolol:

Geographically speaking... these pissed off Ravens fans were correct. Buffalo is closer to Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Cincinnati. Buffalo is more "north".... and Baltimore is more "east."

Colts are not really south... but they had to put them somewhere.

Steelers made the Ravens good. If it weren't for the Steelers, Ravens would be nothing and a finesse team like the Dolphins. :icon mrgreen:

I know , that's why I used to laugh about people saying Tomlin couldn't beat the Patriots in the playoffs. Hell I even remember losing to then in the playoffs with a fog so bad, you could hardly see the game, and I believe Tomzak(I can't remember how to spell it) was our Qb. Cowher lost to the Pat's plenty, with, and without Belichick as the HC.
