It cracks me up when fans act like the Steelers are an elite team, the Colts won one less game than the Steelers last season. Credit to the Colts HC he had a good game plan, they have some good talent on offense.

 

This. The talent difference across the NFL is minimal. That's why the Qb is such a huge thing.
I would like to point out to many....not at you @steelersrule6 ..... the time that J. Flacco was getting the ball out of his hands.....2.6 to throw.

 

I could understand an offense like Vikings/Darnold/JJ after 3 games in the year of our Lord, 2024.... hanging 17 on the Steelers defense in one quarter, but the Colts?!?!?! Steichen was a good OC and currently decent HC.... but he's not the second coming of Walsh by any stretch.

 

You act like this is the 2008 Steelers defense, Porter Jr, Watt, and Queen all had a bad game it happens.

Yes I still have the same argument, how slow are you??? You always build to beat Your division, it's the easiest way to make the playoffs, but it's not the only way to make the playoffs. You do know this division has put more teams at the same time in the playoffs than any other division. LoL stop reaching.

 

And the steelers could not do this in the 2 most important games of the year last year because the ravens were much better that us

We could argue the Ravens in the 2010's were better equipped than Steelers to beat Brady/Patriots and Rodgers/Packers.... the best 2 QBs during this time.

Ravens built a defense that gave Brady/Belichick fits. Steelers D kept getting torched over and over again... except for 2011.

Steelers had a good enough offense with killer Bs to beat anybody... and squandered the opportunities.

 

3 of the worst playoffs game by Brady in his career was vs Ravens...I think Brady had 2 interceptions in each of the 4 games vs ravens in the playoffs...Overall the ravens were 2-2,all of those game was in New England

 

Those of 2018 was in back to back to back week

 

Guess who blew the Denver game in 2018 with a chance to win throws an interception at the goal line .

It was not even the worst play of this game....Even if it was a TD,not sure the steelers would won this game,since this is possible the broncos would drive in the FG range to win 27-24....The fumble of our backup TE in the end zone was way worse and the fumble of Conner was a killer too

But the next 2 loss was terrible coaching like against the chargers when they put a slow ILB on a crucial 3rd down on Keenan Allen and against the raiders when Tomlin let Ben on the bench for almost the entire second half when they were up only 14-10

 

That was funny and you beat me to it.

 

Someone in the comments section of Steelers depot mentioned Ben’s multiple turnovers against the Browns in a playoff game. The first responder blamed Tomlin for the turnovers because it was his game plan that caused them.

there’s one poster here that I’m like 99.999999999999999999% positive that has taken some of his dumber thoughts to a few of the Steelers podcasts. Those thoughts have been vehemently rebuked by the podcasters. It’s really kind of funny actually. Read something here that makes you think holy crap we are a nation of idiots and then an hour later the same exact thing is brought up by a listener with the same forum username.

 

Remember by definition half of the population has an IQ less than 100

And I suspect they aren’t busy curing cancer or saving the world so they have excess time on their hands and therefore are a disproportionate percent of the posters here and on social media etc

And unfortunately they seem to be content being poorly educated
