I agree. I don't see the Commanders letting go of McClaurin. McClaurin will be a Commander for life.

That's the other sticking point - I can't see Washington wanting to trade him off. They've got a little depth at WR, and Jaylin Layne as young talent, but I think they want as many weapons for Daniels this year as they can, and they're fine against the cap right now.

This started with reports that he is frustrated with contract negotiations with the team and may want out, but I agree that they can't afford to let him get away. They invested in improving the team this offseason. They can't afford to waste a year of Daniels by not giving him competent weapons.

I hadn't seen that, though I knew he was looking for an extension. But yeah, I think it's in Washington's best interest to keep him aboard as long as he's not shooting the moon with his asking price.

The media and fans go crazy because a player skips OTAs, then try to connect McLaurin to the Steelers.

Hopefully Kahn learned his lesson last year and isn't keen on the Steelers being used a negotiation tactic by another WR looking to jolt their current team into upping the offer.

Contract dispute. Khan would completely redeem himself this free agency if he pulled this off. Landing Metcalf AND Scary Terry. Phew.

    I can dream.

He'd be back on my Christmas card list as well. With no franchise QB on the horizon I'm alright with some overpay on offense if they were to extend him, too.

Don't get your hopes up over Washington trading him their QB is on a rookie deal, they should have plenty of money to pay McLaurin.

People in Jacksonville that I think know their football have said Gabe Davis was not that good when he played in Jacksonville, and glad they got rid of him.

He was injured and Trevor Lawrence wasn't good either.

i would like to see what we have flourish and find that diamond right under our noses. woods was once a pretty good receiver and hasn't been used much as of late down in Houston. maybe that old body has some life left in it. skowronek is a guy i think has some ability. williams and taylor are two that were quietly quite good in college. mccutcheon and johnson are not small receivers nor is taylor and skowronek. we have some size. then wilson and austin i think will show. this cupboard isn't bare just not known yet. dk will do what he does.

the TE's will have a good year with rodgers. so will the capable RB's we have. they are quite good out of the backfield catching the ball. it doesn't have to be just the WR's doing damage.
