  1. Yes. It's an upgrade over Mason.

  2. No. Mason wouldn't have been much different

  3. No start Will Howard

Brady and Manning are 2 of the best QB of all-time...Of course I take them over almost everyone in NFL history

Do you prefer Stafford or Lamar in their prime?

    I totally agree......
I just believe there is a difference.
A scrambling Qbs actually run only about 40 -60 times a year because they are mainly moving to throw.....,but a Running Qb usually runs 100 - 150 times a year. That's a big difference.

Why do you keep asking me these pointless questions? Stafford to me is obvious. He has accomplished more. It is proven you can win it all with Stafford.

Different side of the same coin....

Historically best defenses. Steel Curtain of the 70's, Bears mid 80's, Ravens early 2000's.

Not black and gold bias when I say I would want the Steel Curtain defense of the 70's. It's because that defense won 4 championships. Those others had their moment in the sun and faded.

If a quarterback completes 27 of 37 passes for 329 yards and four touchdowns, runs for 68 more yards, and throws two of those touchdowns in the final two minutes with the last one giving his team a lead with three seconds left he did enough. Losing is on his team.

This is one of those deals where just about everyone has a point. Everyone needs to chill n keep in mind:
    1. It’s just 1 year.
    2. It’s still Aaron Frickn Rodgers and he can still SLING the ball.
    3. Khan man’s storing up picks and the draft is in Da Burgh next year
    4. All yeah, did I say the draft is in Pitt next year? WAIT FOR IT…
    5. At the very least, it should be entertaining, for just ONE season.

Calm down, get the popcorn out n enjoy the show for just one year!

Except in this case the agenda is the correct version. The MOF has never been big part of Wilsons game unless he is on the move.

My response was not a function of the qb but a function of the people blaming Tomlin

    Incorrectly blaming Tomlin

Gotcha. Should open things up for Smith who likes to incorporate it into his game plan.

At least Im hoping, it’s been absent from our offense for too long. Rodgers is capable.

    Another question would be:
with the cap space, would the 2025 steelers have been better off with WR Adams or QB Rodgers?

I don’t believe cap space is an issue here

I mean it disappeared with Ben as well. At some point you have to look at what the constant is. When Rudolph managed to spark life it was with middle of the field throws, when Pickett did it it was with the same. Wilson sparked some life it was MOF throws and some long balls.

I just want to see them get the ball into the hands of a moving receiver consistently.

You aren't wrong. I don't think they steered Wilson away from the middle of the field because Tomlin put his trust in the guy. Unfortunately, he refused to do that for Fields or Pickett, and it worked out poorly in both cases.

Rodgers does indeed give the Steelers the best chance of winning even if he's 30% of what he used to be. However, that's also assuming Father Time doesn't kick in and he's just a shell of his former self. He's 42, 32, so there's zero guarantee that he performs even at a level of last season. But with that said, he's still the best option in a shallow pool of outside candidates. I'd still list QB as a huge question mark heading into the season. He could as easily be a top 5 QB in the game as he could just as easily be a downgrade from Russell Wilson.
