Do your check marks indicate quality starters? If so, I disagree with Lawrence (so far anyway). Also, while Murray has been capable and flashy, I don’t think he’s provided anything close to 1st overall pick value. My point being it’s even less than a coin flip. Also, Goff did help the Rams get to a SB early in his career, but they still traded him away and got over the hump with the guy they traded him for.

This. If he didn’t wear Namaths # in NY, he won’t wear Bradshaws # in Pittsburgh.

Quality mostly stood for average or better - say, top half in the league. I wasn't really splitting hairs over quality relative to draft position, though it certainly enters the equation at some point. To wit, I'd be disappointed with the return on investment of a Murray or Lawrence thus far, more so if I'd had to give up a haul in picks in order to be in a position to take them.

Our current QB situation is similar to that of the pre-Goff Rams, who deployed guys like Nick Foles, Case Keenum, Austin Davis, and Shaun Hill in the seasons leading up to 2016. While I'd prefer we draft a Stafford, I'll take a Goff under center for a few years over a Winston or Trubisky. - though the ROI would likely still be in the toilet, and thus in the end could still be considered a miss.

Hah, hah, so many bi-polar, mentally-ill on this board.

    "We want a good QB!"

"Ugh, Rodgers signed, now we can't roll with pro-bowler Rudolph!"

You people crack me up. Rodgers at his age is still better than any version of Rudolph and few rookie QBs light the world on fire...Howard needs a year to assimilate. I might be fine with rolling with Howard late in year if things have fallen apart (Rodgers injury, defense looking its age, Tomlin interfering in coaching again, etc).

Howard is inconsistent and not scaring Rudolph.
Rudolph isn't scaring ANY defender around the league or any DCs.
Rodgers far and away best chance at a playoff win in January 2026.

Oh no he is giving the same sign as TJ! Doesn't that mean that I'm holding out for money or I'm retiring or something bad like that? We really need a discussion on what this sign means, lol

Never in a million years would I have ever thought this guy would end up a Steeler.

Put a dagger through our hearts once, lets hope he can now give us something to cheer about.

You maybe correct, but You may not be. We will have to watch the college season, and see. There are a few that are right on the edge of being pretty darn good Qbs , and I will be excited to watch them.
