Heck it may go up if we just sign A. Rodgers, and , or another player, or an injury happens to a division rival. 8.5 is a good line to bet the over

He is a 6 time SB winning coach who is so controlling and anal that it led him to hiring ppl to video record other teams signals, walkthroughs, plays, and personnel for his database and still believes he did nothing wrong. No NFL team is going to make an offer like he is a rookie headcoach. So for any team the starting point has to be how many other 6 time SB winning coaches do you have on your list and the payscale will start there. That doesn't even begin to address the amount of control he will insist on or the control of staffing and personnel hired. A distant fourth will be can a team handle the fact that he will most likely be doing the same amount of cheating he did in NE. That's a lot to deal with and some teams just won't want that. In comparison every team would have jumped at the chance to have Antonio Brown's production on their team but most weren't willing to deal with the crazy Belichick included.

I think the control you mentioned is pretty close to the mark.

You are talking about one of the best "Pre-Season" QBs in NFL history. :)

Kenny knows how to play when wearing a Red Jersey, and Kenny knows how to play when facing a Base Defense on every single Play of the game.

None of them gave him the control he has at North Carolina. He's 73 and not exactly easy to work with. The logic isn't all that difficult.

You claimed that he won nothing without a Hall of Fame quarterback, which is misleading at best.

I don't think he meant two more wins than last year. I think he meant two more wins than they would get with Rudolph.

    He did

But I extrapolated Mason to equal Fields/Wilson

Which may or may not be correct

And that depends on what Mason we get

Again, your words, not mine. You seem to be struggling with what I said vs what you think I said. But have a good day....

He took over a horrible team in Cleveland and built it to the point that they won 11 games before things fell apart in advance of the move to Baltimore.

Got lucky? Who was the head coach who developed Tom Brady from a sixth-rounder to arguably the greatest quarterback in NFL history?

Actually, blackandgoldpatrol's words. You jumped into an argument I was having with him and I conflated your posts with his. My bad.

Some players are too awful for anyone to get something out of them. Jones is one of them.

Brady was a game manager during his first 3 Super Bowl wins and Belichick deserves credit for this. For the remaining 4, he was definitely the hybrid Offensive Coordinator/QB for Patriots and Bucs.

Exactly. People act as if Brady was carrying the Patriots through that entire dynasty. That isn't true. Hell, the best thing that happened to the Patriots in that AFC Championship game on the way to their first Super Bowl was Brady getting knocked from the game. Bledsoe came in and led them to their only offensive touchdown of the game after that.

He was the head coach, but "the coach" most credited with Brady's development was Bill O'Brien

LOL. The Patriots won three Super Bowls before Bill O'Brien joined their staff. They won none while he was there. He wasn't the quarterbacks coach until 2010, and held that position as well as offensive coordinator in 2011. Giving O'Brien credit for Brady seems like the argument of people who are trying to find a way to not give Belichick credit. Don't get me wrong. I don't think Belichick is some great offensive mind, but he is all about discipline, attention to detail, and playing with intelligence, which are also strengths of Brady's game.
