It's hard to step up in the pocket when your center is getting shoved back into your lap most of the time. People have forgotten what a disaster Mason Cole was at center in 2022.

They've won a postseason game more recently than the steelers. Oh yeah, and it was against us. If they suck, where does that put the steelers then?

For me it was poor Ben trying to get out of the way when Kendrick Green was playing center.

I wonder if Picketts wife moved to Cleveland or is she in their prior home waiting to see if she has to go to work

Well, we may be riding the golden sombrero in the playoffs over the past eight years, but we've won 61% of the rest (including 10 of 17 against them), compared to their 40%.

Plus we didn't have to shell out $230M for our poor QB play.

The Browns had a good team when they won that playoff game against us. Hunt and Chubb were in their prime and they had Baker Mayfield at QB. But they had to be the Browns and blow the whole thing up by dumping Mayfield and bringing in the disaster in Watson. If they would have just stayed put they would still be a contending team.

I agree, but I'm still not sure they even win that game if it wasn't for a easy 7 points to start the game.

    I mean..

If Kenny Pickett can win the Browns job, good for him. If not, oh well.

No one should lose sleep whether he does or doesnt.

The thing is.... with as bad as the Steelers current situation is, if KP gets cut by the Browns, we might just make him an offer to come back and back up MR.

    Just saying it's possible.

I was one of the proponents of the idea of keeping Pickett and Rudolph and letting them compete for the job a year ago. I think they would be in a better situation right now if they had done so. That said, I wonder if the Browns can find a trade partner to move Pickett or Flacco during training camp.

I can't see Pickett having any impact on that team, Flacco, Sanders and the other guy they drafted are going to be locks, so where does that leave Pickett?

KP has all the makings of a UFL star… until the league folds.

Man if he ends up the worst in that room then he just might be out of the league in short order. What an epic fail by our coaching and scouting staff in evaluating him.

I know people don't want to hear, or believe it, but I actually think that was a Rooney pick. Not saying that they would have picked anyone better, but I think it's funny who Tomlin, and staff kept looking at, and then who they actually drafted that year.

Depends on how hard he works. Some guys just give up and take the cash and move on with their next stage in life. He certainly had a rough start and the Steelers really did him no favors.

Would any team trade for a guy who couldn't beat out Sanders, 50 years old Joe Flacco or tiny popgun arm Dillon Gabriel?
