Winner. People that like certain players will make these excuses all the time.
    Bradshaw is no exception.
Think about this....if Bradshaw was playing today, he probably wouldn't see a 2nd contract on the team that drafted him.

True for Bradshaw since it was a struggle big time for him in his first 4-5 years...He bounce back big time after that and he had a great career but it was a big struggle for him at the start of his career

If Bradshaw was playing today he might not even get a second year let alone a second contract. His rookie year he threw 6 TD's and 24 picks no team now would ever let him take another snap after a disastrous season like that.

No team would give up on the first overall pick that quickly, no matter how poorly he played as a rookie.

Jamarcus Russell says hello. Actually he did play 3 seasons before being bounced out of the league but his stats weren't near as bad as Bradshaw's.

Agreed, but the thing is ,he was so bad his first two years, today he probably wouldn't see the third year with the team that drafted him.

I agree that Bradshaw was bad in his first two seasons, but you can't compare stats from the 1970s vs. any era after that.

Russell's biggest problem was that he was the laziest player in sports history. He weighed 300 lbs at one point and didn't make any effort.

The likely thing is that he would get the same treatment as Bryce Young....Benched during the second season and a make or break year in year 3

But 24 intereception in 218 pass attempts is still crazy even in the 1970 :roflmao:

But Bryce Young was never that bad. Bradshaw had 19 td , and 48 ints, and at one point a 38% completions. LoL that's not bad, that's horrible, no matter what year you are playing.
I agree he would get another chance today because of being a 1st round pick, but maybe not for the team that drafted him

Yeah, like I mentionned in my previous post,24 interception on 218 pass attempts like Bradshaw had in 1970 is just crazy!

1 interception in every under 10 pass attempts :roflmao:

Regardless of how good or how much potential Pickett has, the team was a ****show: from the offensive coordinator, to the weak o line, and a coach facilitating the whole circus

the steelers did not give KP a fair shot. If he turns out to be a bust it wont be that the steelers knew what they were doing, it’ll mean they just got lucky and saved face.

I was thinking the same thing. If their offensive line is breaking down during a walk through wearing shorts than the Browns are in a helluva lot more trouble than I already thought they were.

KP has the patented spin move right into the DL. Makes it easy.

The one game that Jones started at LT he blocked the rusher to the outside like he should to form a pocket. Kenny spun out and tried to run around the end and was sacked. The announcers actually said that Jones was charged with giving up a sack even though he did exactly what he was supposed to do.

How do you think Moore felt.....He was playing LT for Him the whole time.
Actually many of the Newer Qbs do this, they drift into the the lane that the RT, and LT are trying to force the Defenders up the field.....it's like the art of stepping up into the pocket is slowly disappearing.
Hell Pickett did this, Trubisky did this, Fields did this, and Wilson did this. They all make it even harder on the OL.

Russell helps prove my point. He was horrid, but the Raiders started him in 15 games his second season and nine more his third before they gave up on him.
