That might have had something to do with playing the Eagles, Ravens, Chiefs, Bengals, and then Ravens again. Most of that was without Pickens. He did play against the Bengals, but that was the night he had a brutal case of the drops.

You can if you point out that Wilson faced far tougher competition in those last five games than Fields did in the first six and he did it mostly without Pickens.

Am I crazy or did I head Aaron Rodgers tell Pat McAfee that money is not the problem, and he will be playing for $10 million this year. He said $10 like a couple of times during his interview.

Not sure why this article is claiming the Steelers are holding back on their spending this offseason so they can pay Rodger more than $25 million.
Steelers cap update speaks volumes about their Aaron Rodgers mindset

Funny how all the fans wanting to get rid of Pickens seem to forget how bad this team was last year without him.

Rodgers has been dismissing that as a possibility.

Personally, I don't think the Saints would be interested, anyway. You don't spend a 2nd on Shough to sit him behind Rodgers all year. He's 26 in the fall and they need to get a read on if he's their future, or if they need to be shopping the QB aisle again next year.

Good points. And I think the same reasoning applies to the Vikings. They need to figure out whether McCarthy is 'the guy'.

i think that can be said for most teams. is our current QB THE guy. same as the jets with fields. i just don't see the dedication in a guy like rodgers with one foot out the door already as a plus for the franchise. sure he's better for a year but how much better does it make them? if the end result is the same why delay it even longer? this recycled old guy chit is just lazy coaching to me. waiting on a declining QB so you don't have to do as much coaching while the rest of the team tries to catch up.

Not a bad point, but you want to protect Howard for a year, not throw him to the wolves too early, learning behind Rogers I think would good for Howard's growth.

Also, any one else hear rumblings of Kenny Pickett being dealt to the Saints. Browns could be open to a trade because they already have Sanders ( who they recently signed, Gabriel who they seem to like, and the veteran Flacco

i want the best available guys to be teaching howard for that year. i don't think rodgers is that guy. he didn't do it well with love in green bay. ben didn't do it well here with mason. i think howard could learn as much from mason and maybe a guy like wentz or maybe even bridgewater. i don't think it's skylar thompson for sure. now if the browns let flacco go he may be a guy to bring in. i want arth to coach howard and mason. let him be the guy to teach them.

With Rodgers at QB the team makes the playoffs. With Rudolph that becomes a bigger question.
The org seems to be good with the goal of just making the postseason until they get their guy, whenever that might happen.

With 2015 Rodgers at QB the team makes the playoffs. With 2025 Rodgers that becomes a bigger question.

Mason seems like the kind of guy who would want to help

Ben was a self centered player that felt insecure

Thanks., but again a playoff game is not a SB.
I want to make it to the playoffs, and win enough to make it to the SB.
I've been watching since the 70s, and at No time can I remember being more happy once we made the playoffs, if we won one playoff game, two playoff game ,or none if we didn't make the SB...
I'm telling you for the last time .....truthfully.....once we make the playoffs.....if we don't make the SB....I'm more upset if we lose the AFC Championship than I am if we lose the 1st playoff game. For many reasons, some for myself, and some for the team.

You always want to go as far as you can. Of course, the ultimate goal is to win the Super Bowl, but only two teams do that each year. That's just my opinion. It's fine if you have a different opinion; we have to respect that. But this is boring to always lose the first playoff game for me...Need to be in a another level

In the 1970s, one of the most memorable playoff wins of the steelers were the Immaculate Reception in 1972, even though they didn't make the Super Bowl that year, but it was still a legendary moment in Pittsburgh and in the NFL.

Are you saying that you don't want Rogers teaching indirect passive aggressive communication?

Yeah, I probably agree with you on that, but just by watching Rogers (if he signs) would help Howard develop, future HOFer

Damn it, I didn't see this one coming. Aaron Rodgers might be a Mike Tomlin type of QB Afterall.

In 2024 Aaron Rodgers finished 32nd, in average yards per attempt. Rodgers would have fit right in with Matt Canda's offense. 32nd, that is like dead last right???

    6.7 yards per attempt
In the 2024 NFL season, Aaron Rodgers had an average of 6.7 yards per attempt. He ranked 32nd in yards per attempt among all players.
