Bengals Trey Hendrickson said he will not play this season without a new contract.

He is their only great players on defense.....

 

So instead of having to score 40 points a game Burrow will now have to put up 50 a game to win.

 

If the Bungles continue to not take preseason and training camp
seriously they could have the Steel curtain playing for them and they still
wouldn't make the playoffs.

 

This is not accounting for the fact that neither Shemar Stewart and Demetrius Knight have yet to sign their contracts. I also believe that Rookie Minicamp for the Bengals was on May 9th. Their OTAs begin on May 27-29th; June 2-4th being the next set of days. After that, mandatory Minicamp drops on June 10th to the 12th.


Anything can happen between now and then for Shemar and Knight. That said, having your number one rated pass rusher sit out and hold out is unacceptable; doubly so if he is by far and away your best player. At this rate, Joe Burrow might have regret signing that deal in addition to advocating for both Chase and Higgins if this keeps up.
