You kmow I watch every PSU game. I'm just not sure Allar will ever be a top flight QB. Can't really explain that view but he just seems to fold in big games. Maybe this year will solve that. I hope so

    2026 class....

    Garrett Nussmeier SR LSU

    Cade Klubnik SR Clemson

    Drew Allar SR PSU

    Carson Beck SR+ Miami

    Taylen Green SR Arkansas

    Miller Moss SR Louisville

    Jalon Daniels SR Kansas

    Haynes King SR GT

    Kyron Jones SR VaTech

    Blake Shapen SR+ MissState

This is your senior class QB top10. The guys with a better than 50% chance to declare for the draft as of today. Who do you guys that want to 'tank' this season, want to 'tank' for again? There are underclassmen that may decide to declare for the 2026 draft, but as of today, they are not even close to available in next year's draft. Maybe it's the 2027 draft you lot are thinking about? Maybe even 2028?

I think he made a smart choice returning for his final year. If he continues to hone is craft as he has done up to this point I think he is the clear cut #1 pick, #2 the worst.

I’ll be watching PSU closely this season.

I said this last College Football Season and got laughed at.

    Funny how opinions can change.

Not only will Allar develop, he will likely be the number one overall pick should he develop the way I believe he can.

All James Franklin has to do is stay out of his own way. If that can happen, Penn State can win the National Title game. If anything, I have them slotted for it.

The highlights are there. Consistency week to week, and even play to play, is just not there yet. He really needs to show growth in 2025.

Pretty much this. He has the ability to make spectacular plays because he has a huge arm and is quite an athlete for his size. But he has some crazy misses that show up pretty consistently. He can put a rope on you 50 yards downfield, but miss the back out of the backfield that is right in front of him. Wide left. Wild stuff really.

I've never come away super impressed with him as a player yet, and he seems to play his worst against the best competition... but the tools are there, and if he finds a way to be consistent, then his ceiling is quite high. Lets see how he progresses in 2025. I think he might be worth taking a shot on (though, I think he is pretty likely to get drafted high regardless (similar to Anthony Richardson) simply due to his measurables and raw talent).
