Off topic (and maybe the wrong person. Do you follow South Carolina football? To lazy to look up past threads, anyway today on weekend broadcast of Penn State and other topics (or whatever the heck they call it), the guys were talking about the Steelers and the 26 draft. Not necessary for the Steelers, but the mentioned the QB from SC, said keep an eye out for him, not talked about a lot but is fun to watch and could be a guy who gets a lot on interest.

 

Yes He is a SC fan. I know this for a fact. LoL.
Also the Razorbacks Qb Taylen Green will get a lot of looks this year, unless He just absolutely fails. He's pretty much what most are looking at today . Big, strong arm, and fast.

He's not my type of Qb as of now, but I will of course be rooting for him. He needs to play from the pocket way better IMO, but I know people who love a Qb just because they can run fast, jump far, and throw far. Just look at Indys last 1st round pick. LoL

 

Yes…Sellers is a dual threat. As close as anyone to a Lamar Jackson.
Very elusive, good arm just needs to work more on his passing game.
Also, sometimes he tries to do too much, which in turn, leads to turnovers
Last year was his first year starting. Lots of potential

 

This was proven a couple years ago when Pickett was playing horribly. I understand playing Pickett as long as he did that season. However he let Trubisky play way too many games. When all hope was lost and screams from everyone asking for a change he finally put Rudolph in. Tomlin didnt do it to save the season he did it to save his non-losing season. If Tomlin cared at all about the season Trubisky would have been pulled 3 games sooner.

And we won't in this loaded AFC. There's the big 3 in the Chiefs, Ravens and Bills. The next tier has the Texans, Chargers and Bengals. That leaves the Steelers battling it out with the Broncos and Dolphins for the 7th seed. The reward for getting the 7th seed is a visit to one of the big 3 for a royal ass kicking.

Yeah it's pretty much every teams key. You can't make the SB , if You can't make the playoffs.

 

Tomlin WILL go a decade without a playoff win and many will still say he's a great coach. The team has been horribly mismanaged for more than 10 years and a playoff win under the Tomlin regime is not in the cards. How sad that a playoff win has become the new standard for coaching success in Pittsburgh. There is no way imagineable that the Steelers become legitimate contenders under Tomlin.

 

I guess we will find out in 2027. Maybe.
