Stability is important but it's not the case if the results are mediocre and it's obvious that it won't change...similar to the Bengals with Marvin Lewis.They kept Lewis for like 10 years too long and the Steelers are not far from that with Tomlin

He is not wrong...Tomlin was very good at the start and he deserve credit for that but lately he is outdated

That doesn't explain why most of those 1st round picks have gotten worse after they left. Again, Pickett, Bush, and T. Edmunds can't even keep a job. They've all gotten worse, under other coaches, and they were all 1st round picks, and we know 1st round picks get plenty of opportunities, even from teams that didn't pick them.

Tomlin has made "the standard" a running joke. For that alone he should be fired.

The more the former Redskin --Ryan Clark opens his mouth.The more I want Tomlin to stay here and never have a losing regular season.Maybe this year we will get to the play-offs and win--Then all the haters and nay-sayers can shut-up.He is our Coach until he is not.If he has a losing season and they want change--Then so be it --But I like Tomlin and hope he never loses.

Tomlin is resting on stuff he did 15 years ago. He hasn't done anything great since then (last 15 years). Its past time to make a change. Really should’ve made the change in 2017.

Marty Shottenheimer had some losing seasons and he had several different HC jobs, look at his coaching tree and it is pretty damn good. Yet he never did anything in the PO's, ot fired after going 14-2.

you can like MT all you want, results matter, I personally do not think he is a bad HC, plenty worse in the league, but there comes a time when change is needed, happened to Noll, Cowher, and it is past time for MT.
