Damn, prices are brutal... I got tickets today, but now 500 Section tickets are now $150+.

I remember when they were about $70-90.

Resale was always based on supply and demand, while still true, several years ago the Steelers began "dynamic pricing" with games listed as Pre Season, Gold, Black and Premier Tiers:

For example in Section 108 closer to the field, the pricing is:

    Pre Season 75.00 TB
    Gold 185.00 Colts and Fins
    Black 215.00 Clowns Bungals Ratbirds
    Premier 269.00 Seahags Pack Jills

So to recoup your costs or make some $$ you have to pice accordingly. In the past each game was priced the same, even preseason games were listed at same price as regular season.

We listed the TB game for 85.00 less 10% fee we received 76.50. They sold.

Standard price tickets went on sale today, not the resale.

I try to avoid resale tickets if I can, but that also means I’m stuck in the 500 Section.

Yeah I remember when dynamic pricing was introduced…that was the first time prices jumped above $100 for the 500 Section. I think it was for a Tom Brady Patriots game.

I got a ticket for Colts game, so that was the lower tier.

Was planning on the Fins-Steelers game this year, but with it in the middle of December as a night game...nope. 24 years in South Florida, my blood has thinned too much, and my old bones can't handle the cold like I used to.

I’ve been avoiding night games because of vision but I’m scheduled to get both eyes fixed this summer so currently I am planning to be there

Cold doesn’t bother me I have proper gear and Club Seats to get warm at halftime and up until kickoff

Might need a Power Nap at halftime

Funny how what we do changes us for the weather. I could never live in Florida. I'm an avid Golfer and people always wondering why I don't live down south for the Golf. I worked outdoor for my career and cold does not bother me. I'm a winter golfer and can't play in the summer heat.

How the hell do those old men down there play in the heat???????????

I have no idea. The summer heat can be brutal but it's the winters here that are the best. Average 70-80's in the day, 60-70's at night. Believe it or not, I find the summer heat up North worse at times then here. Growing up in NJ, those 110-115 degree heatwaves were brutal without the air flow that is constant down here. It wins out though because you get a week or two of that there, here it's burn your face off for 6 months.
