Just a dopey Bengals player stirring up ****. I'm sure JH isn't happy with being let go and feels he was wronged and have no doubt he wants to knock our dick in the dirt but hate is a strong word, I'm sure Pittsburgh still holds a special place in his heart.

Yeah I could see him wanting to come back here and wreak havoc but it's just hard for me to believe that he hates us now. I don't expect Harrison to set the world on fire. If he still had as much left as he expects us to believe the Rats would've taken him. If the Bungles take him I will just view it as validation that the FO knew what they were doing with him. LOL.

Just a bunch of Malarkey from Karlos Dunlap. Harrison doesn't hate the Steelers after providing him with 2 SuperBowl Rings and Steeler fans will not hate him for the business side of the game. The Benglas know that he still has something in the tank and they have a formidable group under an excellent coach in Zimmer. He'd fit well there. Would I like to see him go to , Oh say Minnesota?, you bet but he will go where he has the best offer and fit. Bengals got lots of money to throw around. Something the Steelers never seem to have year in and year out.

Well we have money. It's just that it all belongs to Ben, Troy, and Woodley. LOL.

I'm a little worried he is going to put Ben out on a stretcher, wouldn't that suck! But realistically, he's 35 with a bad back and bad knees, he can still be effective but I don't see him as a terror on the field anymore.

Whatever motivates a 35 year old washed up linebacker whose knees and back are falling apart and who was too bull-headed to accept a generous $4M contract offer from the Steelers. If hating the organization that made you gets you going, James, then so be it.

There are some young guys on our offensive line named DeCastro, Pouncey, Adams, Gilbert, et al that aren't going to be intimidated by an old man.

I don't think he's quite ready for senior living just yet. He didn't come into the league til late in his age and has sat a few suspensions which attributes to less wear. He can cover the midfield range and still get a good rush on the QB when not being held. If he goes to the Bengals he will make an impact. Their defense will be stacked with him in there. Not a bengal fan but he will make an impact.

Until he is officially a Bengal, I am not going to worry about him. I think James needs to ask himself a question....Could I have stayed on the Steelers had I been willing to take the same money with them that I will get with my new team? That is the reality for him, and I think the answer would probably be yes.

Hard to believe he hates the Steelers now. Lets see, he went undrafted, the Rat Birds picked him up and released him, the Steelers picked him up, signed him developed him and made him a multi millionare. Then he got older, slower and hurt but they still offered him millions to play but he refused the millions and now will probably play for less than the Steelers offered him. Hard for a player to forget what a team did for him, not only that but he achieved the ultimate in pro football with the Steelers, winning two SBs and playing in three.

I don't buy it even if he says it.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Harrison call this article out. :rules::bsux:

It wouldn't surprise me if he did say it. The guy has shot his mouth off before, many times. He's not the brightest guy in the world, that's for sure. Hell of a football player, but not the brightest human being. Look what he said about Ben and Mendy a few years ago. Someone that would blast his own teammates would likely blast his old team.

Harrison doesn't hate the Steelers, he hates everyone. The Steelers didn't recognize his value, now the Bengals don't. I fear a very unhappy post career for the Silverback.

He should have taken the Steelers offer. Now the bungles are stalling due to the money he wants. Looks like the numbers just don't jive. Trying to squeeze a dime out of the bungles is gonna be hard there James.

Wourlds is poised to take his spot. Time to step it up.

I believe Silverback has at LEAST one more good season in him.
I`m gonna absoluteley HATE it , if it comes with the Bungles, or any division rival, but I don`t blame him for going wherever will pay him.
My question is in regards to the last 2 posts...
Yinz got a link to what the "holdup" is? The beginning of this thread sounded like it was pretty much a done deal...
