I’m guessing you don’t know the definition of irony. Not surprised though.

You condemned the post/poster, as if to say one should not do such a thing, and then literally did same thing. I think irony works here. Often used to contrast the difference between expectations and reality, discrepancy or absurdity.
    Perhaps contradictory is your preference?

It makes sense to me to get rid of Pickens because both are XWRs with the exact same limited route tree of cornet, post, fades, and slants. Unless you want to throw the ball deep 15+ times a game to keep both happy it just doesn't make sense to keep both from a game planning standpoint. The Steelers needed a ZWR even if they kept both on the roster.

Yeah, not really. 'Literally' appears to be another word we're having trouble with.

As in "actually" or "exactly". As in, he "actually" did the thing he condemned.
    Again, I'm comfortable with this.

Yeah. I'm aware of what "literally" means.

Not so sure you're grasping it yet.

Yeah, I'm aware of what it means as well. Again, I feel comfortable with my use of it here.
    Merriam Webster
    Literally adverb
    1. in a literal sense of manner : such as
B- used to emphasize the truth and accuracy of a statement or description.

Alright. So show me where Glenn, on his own initiative, dug up a three-year old post and gave someone a hard time over what they said three years ago.

He (Glenn)expressed distain to the individual responding in a certain manner, alluding to or suggesting it is poor form or at the very least invalid. In small part because the thread is so old. The individual, suggesting Glenn's take wasn't so good, on an old thread.
Meanwhile, he (Glenn) is on the very same old thread responding to an individual in a certain manner, suggesting the individual's take isn't so good.
These are not meant as verbatim to both parties responses to each other, but a general description of the circumstances of the responses.
    Satisfied?

For the record, I never once said Glenn "dug" up this old thread.
I said he was giving them a hard time for a take they had, while being on an old thread. Just like they were giving him a hard time for a take he had, while being on an old thread.

Ask AI, that's what Blast Furnace does when he doesn't know things.

He makes up his own definitions and then mocks things he doesnt understand.

Probably thinks computers are big paperweights and the changing sceneries is magic.

I actually post definitions, and articulate the manner in which I've used the words in relationship to their definition. I provide examples and explanation. You usually reply with some childish two word response in a feeble attempt to deflect embarrassment.

Ultimately, the point of scrutiny that you and your knights attempt to latch on to morphs into something else or you attempt to move the goalpost.

I do think a computer would serve as a better paperweight than the empty void between your ears. :hehehe:

You still don't understand what metaphor means. :lolol:

You think I'm amusing? That's terrific. Just yesterday you said I failed at humor.
    Thank you for the compliment!

Using the wrong definition of white knighting is a metaphor now? So now you are making up your own definition of metaphor.

Yeah, thats not the kind of amusing I’m talking about. I’d explain it but thats probably beyond you too. You could use AI but you’re afraid of it.

You were the metaphorical "fair maiden" in distress during our other debate. Your buddies who joined the conversation in an attempt to come to your aid were the metaphorical "knights in shining armor". I used the slang/term "white knighting" , metaphorically. I've explained this to you already. It was satire. You were the chick in the scenario. Curiously, you've showcased some tendencies as well.
Your alleged brain matter is one of this message boards great mysteries. How could something so dense also be so empty?

I'm aware of what you said. The two scenarios are not the same, especially if you want to get literal.

If you are "aware" of what I said, then you acknowledge that I never referenced "digging up an old thread". My use of the word "literally" is correct within the context of what I said. You incorrectly applied your own made up context in an attempt to discredit me for misuse of a word. It's childish and lame.
It's ok to say you were wrong. It's what adults do.
