    So says this guy:

"I would be surprised if the Steelers are done at the wide receiver position," Rapoport said. "They are likely to at least sign one more and there are a couple of talented wide receivers still on the market."

And this is why you get treated like the pathetic little man you are

And wonder why you don’t get any respect from anyone

    You don’t deserve it

The thing that gives me a bad feeling in this is the Woods signing. If they had any inkling that they were close to a deal with Pickens (and I think they did), why bring him in? Great guy, but he's 33 and on the downslope of his career. He's definitely not replacing Pickens as a threat at this point, he's more back-of-the-room depth.

They signed Skowernek to a two-year deal this offseason, so that signals they intended to keep him. If they sign a Cooper/Allen, and keep Woods and Skowernek they go in with six WR (five last year). I'm good with that, but I don't know iff they are.

Your skin is so thin that a good breeze will make you bleed. You heap abuse on other posters even though you can't take it when someone pokes back, but I do enjoy the unintentional irony in your post.

Despite your attempt to assert otherwise, I was basing my post on things that I had read on this board. (Thor posted the links.) Do you expect me to believe your post was meant to just be a friendly question? Come on, Jeh. I'm younger than you (Isn't everybody?), but I'm not that young. If you want to play nice, play nice. If you want to start ****, don't cry when I'm mildly prickly in my response.

Now, please do have a wonderful evening.

That is the same concern I expressed a few times. I think the Woods signing is meant to fill the hole created in the receiver room when they traded Pickens. That was the entire point of my post before jeh dragged things off track, that the Steelers are pushing the idea that Woods and Wilson can step up in place of Pickens, which is ridiculous. I hope I'm wrong and they are just doing that as a smokescreen. I'm hoping they are trying to convince any free agents or opposing GMs that they aren't desperate for help at receiver, but I doubt anyone is buying that.

    The answer is, nothing good.

Amari Cooper, Keenan Allen, and Gabe Davis are the only names that really come to mind that would be an acceptable stop gap. We might explore a trade for someone like Romeo Doubs, John Metchie, or Treylon Burks, but none of that seems very impactful. Not sure what else might be out there for trade possibilities.

It seems very likely we are in for another early WR selection (or bigger name trade) in the near future. We cant be drafting our QB of the future next season and give him DK + garbage as his first WR room. We have a really nice looking backfield and TE room, and a young OL that hopefully improves.... but the WR room is very sad right now.

ANY of these 3 would be NICE

we have other WR's that can play

CA, DK and Wilson. It's a shame we still can use big #80, but maybe this is the year!

Your response may have gained you some respect if you had admitted you were wrong and apologized

But you did not and as usual tried to push blame elsewhere where because your esteem is so low

Now run along please pathetic little man

But get your last word in I will allow you and then you can quit wasting space here

I don't see them being interested in Allen he's 33 years old, they just signed Woods who is also old.

Frankly, it sucks having to replace Pickens from a talent perspective. I happen to have high hopes for Wilson since they drafted him. To me, he's Diontae Johnson with a better head on his shoulders. Time will tell if that pans out. But it convolutes things in the meantime, since Wilson is a redshirt rookie, and Austin hasn't broken out. While I'm sure they want a strong WR2, they're probably hesitant to commit to a lengthy contract if they're hoping either of those two turn out well.

With Austin being a FA after the season though, they could opt to sign one and let he and Wilson battle it out in the inside for the slot.

While I will agree on Roc's potential, I have to wonder is Roc Taylor, CA3, and Kenneth Gainwell too many Memphis guys on one pro offense. Will it be unfair to the rest of the league?

You desperately need a mirror, but for some reason, few folks here will hold one up for you.

If you want people to be nicer to you, don't go out of your way to antagonize them. I would respect your opinion more if you would apologize for starting this argument, then unnecessarily escalating matters, but I highly doubt you are capable of that sort of introspection.

    Have a lovely night.
