Who will replace Shelton and when?

Not that it will make much difference, but I would say Miguel Perez or Don Kelly. And probably by June 1. Just a guess on the date. Maybe as soon as this weekend.

I predicted today and went to a Pirate message board I partake in and it was gone. The board is like the Pirates, it sucked.

If not today I agree it will be by June 1st. Really won't matter. I'm a true believer that great players make great Coaches. Ask Bill Bellicheck (if not making sweet love to his woman), ask Jim Leyland, etc. etc.

 

Likely not a good manager but this is hard to win with a poor lineup like that

I agree about the great players making great managers. Warren Spahn pitched for the 1942 Braves, who sucked. He also pitched for the 1965 Mets, who sucked worse. The manager in each case was Casey Stengel. Spahn said he pitched for Casey both before and after he was a genius.

 

I could have lived a LONG life without the image of Bellicheck making love to ANYONE!!!

Pirates MB says Don Kelly but that may just be interim. I vote for James Harrison. No participation trophies! Still loved Lloyd McClendon's passion, especially when he literally stole 1st base. LOL! There's some saying though about hemoglobin and Brassica Rapa so as we all know, it won't make a hill of beans difference.

 

Not sure what happened but it happens a few times per year and always comes back. I have been a member for over 15 years under various names. I seem to get banned every 5 years or so. Not many places to talk Pirates since MLB shut down forums years ago. I just noticed this section on this website not too long ago. Maybe a new place for me ? I enjoy following Pirates prospects and the hope they usually fail to bring. I don`t really get mad at all the losing. Ever since Sid Breams slide and Bonds leaving and the sadness I felt. Iwill never let sports and my favorite teams get me down. It just entertainment and sometimes a few dollars to be made.
