Now that GP has been circumcised:

    paste and cut

With the Pittsburgh Steelers electing to send starting wide receiver George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for a third-round pick and other pick swaps, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Cooper could be the type of veteran they target to fill the void at the position across from DK Metcalf.

Gabe Davis and Keenen Allen are the only two I can come up with.

Cooper,Allen come to mind. They're kind of in "has been" territory of their career but still probably better than most of what's left of the Steelers WR room now.

I think it will be Keenan Allen or Cooper because they are both old and washed, who is a good fit for this version of the steelers

Khan is in the same boat he was in last year after trading away DJ, and then not picking up anyone in Free Agency worth a damn. It is now too late to pickup a quality #2 WR in Free Agency and we can start chasing our tale around like last year about trying to trade for a WR.

No NFL Quality Starting QB on the roster, and no #2 WR on the roster. I would say we are worse off than last year right now.

I am also guessing we will hear all offseason and training camp again this year, how they are going to use Muth as the #2 WR. Then the season starts and that concept never shows up on the field.

Tough call. Cleveland's QB situation makes it hard to evaluate their WRs. Still, he put up good numbers in each of his first two years there, averaging over 70 receptions and ~1200 yards. But last year was rough: 44/547/4 between the Browns and Bills. It's hard to imagine he just lost it between 30 and 31. He'd be a good compliment to Metcalf if he checks out.

Allen is getting long in the tooth, but seems to still have it. He had 70/700/7 with the Bears (15 games) last year, and 100/1200/7 in LA (13 games) the year before. He's had some injuries the past three seasons.

Gabe Davis I've never been huge on. He's got an impressive yards/reception (over 16 yards per over his four seasons), but has yet to tally 50 catches in a single season.

Well, Cooper and Allen are the obvious choices. I like both , but probably like Keenan Allen a little more. He's always been a fighter and very reliable across the middle and in crunch time,
The issues with Allen however, are
    1. His age, 33, and
    2. His injury history.
Given the injury history, I would lean more toward Cooper, even though he'll turn 31 soon. He doesn't excite me but he at least (thus far) is dependable.
Other options are Gabe Davis (and really, has he done a whole lot outside of that 4TD playoff game?), Odell Beckham jr (is he healthy enough to play?) Nelson Agholor (no thanks, saw enough of him in Philly) and DJ Chark.

Of course, in an effort to persuade Rodgers, they could give up some draft capital and trade for Allen Lazzard. That doesn't thrill me either, but at least he's younger than Allen and Cooper.

If Gabe Davis is the guy I’m thinking of, isn’t his NFL resume mostly just one good playoff game as a Bill?

Sign Gabe Davis and trade for another receiver.

the mea culpa's will be accepted......told you GP was HISTORY, just like i said DJ was history, the season before. Khan is not F'n around.

that said, hopefully Khan learned last season we need a more serviceable WR that can produce, and not wait till Oct and grab some washed up 35 year old....

ALL OF THAT SAID - if Tomlin, Smith and Meyer cannot get this run game, NONE OF IT MATTERS - we will SUCK AGAIN on offense

Yep. He went off on KC for 8/200/4.

Much to the chagrin of anybody that stuck with him on their fantasy team that year.

I think they won't sign anybody else. They moved Robert Woods up to a starting spot on their depth chart and put out the notion that Roman Wilson looks like a completely different player in the offseason, then the offense will suck even worse than it did in 2024 no matter who is at quarterback.

They did not move Woods up the depth chart

Until camp is over there is no depth chart

And what info are you using about Wilson

There are some articles like this one, and this, that are going around.

He's got to stay healthy, but I really liked Wilson coming out. Should make a good compliment to a Pickens/Metcalf type receiver.

If Rudolph is QB, look for some familiarity from Titans stockpile.

If Rudolph is QB he will lead the league in interceptions. He threw 9 in 5 starts last year, Fields and Wilson threw a total of 6 the entire season.
