Not just any second round pick. But number 32.

Claypool was traded during the season and had another year left on his contract, that pick wasn't #32 at the time of the trade . Claypool also wasn't as big as a knucklehead as Pickens.

    Is that really Tomlin?
Are you upset because of the flaccid drawing?
    Hit too close to home>
    Hurt your feelings?
Shake it like a Polaroid and nothing develops?

    Waiting?

I don't recall Claypool having over $100,000 in fines in one season, or showing up late for a game fighting on the field. There were also reports Pickens was late to meetings.

And this time cowgirl made a great deal. They can try this guy out for a year. Then let him get signed to a big contract by another team. And get a 3rd round comp pick.

    A guaranteed 3rd in 26 beats a possible 3rd in 27

And the Steelers already tried him out

It’s like when a hot looking chick walks into a bar and you want to jump all over her. But somewhere is a guy who is already sick of her crap.

That is kind of a take on something Asa Baber once said in Playboy magazine. "Show me a hot looking woman and I'll show you a man bored with ----- her". Something along those lines.

Claypool wasn't as good a player as Pickens, and his play had deteriorated after his rookie season. Funny how you left that part out.

Where did I claim Claypool was on the same level as Pickens as a player? Stick to your bad takes on the Pickens trade .

Khan deserves the praise/criticism for the Pickens trade.... however you look at it. As much as I like to rip on Popcorn... this trade wasn't on him. Now development of Pickens... yes.

If it was time to get rid of him and apparently it was then you get what you can

    And they did

This first round bs is idiotic

We completely fleeced the Bears. Claypool was not worth a 2nd, especially where the second was ordered on draft day.

I don’t think you can compare the Pickens trade to Claypool. The Bears were suckers and gave up way too much.
